Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam with HMP of capacity not less than 40 to 60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminouse binder @ 4.0 to 4.5 per cent by weight of total mix and filler, tranporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achive the desired compaction as per Clause 507 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, complete in all respects - Using grade-II materials.

Providing and laying bituminous concrete with HMP of capacity not less than 40 to 60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 509 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, complete in all respects - Using grade-II material.-Bitumen 60/70

Cleaning of the existing black topped surfaces with brooms, soft brushes and finally dusting with old gunny bags and/or compressed air to receive bituminous treatment. As per clause no 503.3.1 of MOST specification.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg. per sqm. on the prepared bituminous / granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Excavation for roadway in soil by mechanical means including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 metres (average lead 50 metres) including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections.

Providing and laying unscreened gravel boulders to a specified consolidated thickness for sub base course including stacking of the material to the departmental gauge on road side for pre-measurement the volume of stock calculated as per the actual measurement shall be reduced by 15% for looseness in stacking to arrive at the net quantity. The rate shall include labour charges for spreading and hand packing to the required camber and graded and rolling with power roller, hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants employed and the cost of boulders etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.

Providing and fixing 3M make reflective road studs of category 'A' raised pavement markers made out of poly carbonate /ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values conforming to ASTM D4280. The reflective raised pavement markers shall also confirm the length, height and width of the body shall not be less than 100mm,15mm and 90mm respectively and base of marker shall be flat within 1.3mm (3M equivalent). The marker shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. Lenses shall be moulded of Polycarbonate or methyl methacrylate conforming ASTM D788. The area of each retro reflectory surface shall not be less than 13.0 sqcm. The slope or retro-reflectory surface shall be 35+5 degree to base. Each reflector shall have a CIL not less than values specified in table 1 of said MORT&H circular and two cylindrical polymer shanks not less than 20mm diameter and not less than 30mm length shall be provided for better anchorage with bituminous grout or epoxy mortar all as per the MORTH circular No.RW/NH.33023/10/97-DO.III dt.11.06.97.

Fabrication, supply and fixing of informatory board of size 1.2 m X 0.6 m of diamond graded reflective sheeting encapsulated on aluminium sheets of not less than 2 mm thick suitably supported and framed by M.S angles of size 40 mm X 40 mm X 6mm. The informatory lettering and the symbols will be provided by high intensity white grade white sheeting. The board is supported by a post pipe of size 80 mm dia M.S. heavy for a height of 3.6 m and extended and supported to the extreme width of the board on the rear side. This board frames and post pipes will be painted by Zinc chromate primer and white colour enamel paint and embedded in ground pit of size 0.6m X 0.6 m X 0.6 m with PCC 1:2:4. Rate includes all materials, labour charges, conveyance, concreting, painting.

Providing and erecting a "Thrie" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail,85 cm above road/ ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150X75X5 mm spaced 2 m centre-to-centre, 2 m high with 1.15m below ground level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanized by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150X75X5mm, 546mm long complete as per Clause 810.
