Excavation in trenches not exc.1.5 mtr wide and not exc.1.5 m in depth for laying of pipes as in soft soil and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated material to a distance not exc.50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs 15 mm bore gun metal globe or gate valve with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed including necessary cutting into existing pipe, threading, inserting new piece of GI pipe of existing size, and earthwork in any type of soil or breaking/cutting into road/interlocking tiles/cement concrete, etc. and making good the disturbed surfaces as per existing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair to brick masonary valve pit of size 1200 x 1200 x 1200mm (Internal dimensions of chamber from top of PCC to bottom of cover) including excavation in any type of soil returning, filling around foundation and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m PCC 1:4:8 type D2 in foundation brick work in cement mortar 1:6, 10mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:4 to internal surface covered pit with MS sheet cover 3.15 mm thick with locking arrangement handle fixing arrangement and painting with oil paint two coat over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for comprehensive maintenance of hypochlorite powder dozing pump installed on water supply installation at different locations, including repair and replacement of of spare parts etc to make the plant functional throughout. Note :- Rate of opening and transportation to civil market and refixing is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. Spare parts required for replacement shall be mesured as "Supply only" under respective items of this BOQ.

M&L for preparation of old painted or treated / untreated steel or iron surfaces of any description like valve pit covers, pipe lines of OHT, rising/delivery/ washout pipes, etc and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (of existing colour and as directed) over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer including staging to work at approx 21 M heights complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for cleaning, descaling of valve pit chamber, bailing out the leakage water and filling the gland packing and rubber pacing in sluice valves, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L preparing old steel surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat primer, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling the water mains from the delivery lines, lifting/taking up GI/UPVC Column pipes, pumping sets including submersible cable after disconnecting pumping sets of capacity 35 to 45 HP from cable, repairs to the defective submersible cable and jointing of submersible cable by using water proofing jointing kit, transporting the pumpset to civil workshop and back to site after repairs, replacement of defective column pipes, and including lowering of submersible pump sets, submersible cable, column pipes, reonnecting main delivery mains as existing and testing for satisfactory running and continuous flow of water etc complete all as directed by Engineer in charge at bore wells at various location in domestic area.
