Excavation in trenches in hard/dense soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep for laying of cables and foundation of poles etc. and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches (soil), including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, sand cushioning with a layer of dry river sand, 80mm thick before laying of cable and 150mm thick (punned down to 100mm thick) after laying of cables, in trenches/ducts, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying, factory made unreinforced precast concrete cable cover HV type-1, flat, of size 300x180x40mm, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable for protection, length perpendicular to the direction of cable adjacent to each other, complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting 11KV electric supply from existing 2 pole structure and maintenance and servicing/ overhauling of existing indoor type, horizontal draw out type VCB, of current rating 630 Amps by disconnected HT cable termination joints, checking and cleaning all the spare parts of 11 KV VCB to avoid any chance of flashing, loose connection sparking, any burning parts and to replace all nuts,bolts and washers, if found any damaged due to flashing,short circuit,earth fault etc with new one anodiesed of existing size,testing and calibration of earth fault and over load relays complete after re-connction of all dismantled cables and again testing after re-charging the VCB and testing complete with satisfactorily of GE and the necessary spares i e. as per original equipment manufactures as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix outdoor type sheet metal of 3.15mm thick termination / junction box of size 1500 x 1000 x 1000mm with angle iron frame/ support with copper bus bar of size 50 x 6mm suitable for HT cable termination and locking arrangement, the legs to be fixed on foundation with PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded aggregate) complete all as specified.

Supply, jointing & testing, straight through joint kit Heat shrinkable type complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 11KV grade (earthed), HT, underground XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor, 3core 120Sqmm to 185 Sqmm size cable, in repairs complete all as specified and directed. Make : 3M/Universal/Raychem/Denson/M-seal.

All as per item No 12 here-in-above but of 3 core 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm size cable.

Material and labour for indoor end termination joint kit Heat shrinkable type complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 11KV grade (earthed), HT, underground XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor, 3core 120Sqmm to 185 Sqmm size cable but in repair, complete all as specified and directed. Make : 3M/Universal/Raychem/Denson/M-seal.

Material and labour for outdoor end termination joint kit Heat shrinkable type complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 11KV grade (earthed), HT, underground XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor, 3core 50 Sqmm to 95 Sqmm size cable but in repair, complete all as specified and directed. Make : 3M/Universal/Raychem/Denson/M-seal.

Material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically (depth of pit not less than 2.25m below normal ground level), with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt, electrode connections using galvanized iron strip of size 32mmx6mm thick (upto body of equipment) by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & GI washers, connected to main switch board or main control board or test point, protected by galvanized iron pipe medium grade 40mm dia bore, and watering pipe 20mm dia bore GI medium grade with funnel & wire mesh including all necessary excavation & earth work, PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 & RCC cover, all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009), testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed. Note(s) :- (i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM not less than 4Kg/Sqm. Note : Supply of new spare parts shall be measured and paid for separately as under:-

M&L for MS plain black sheet of thickness 1.6mm for panel canopy cut to size holes punched, including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to steel framing with welded seams, including bending or turning up complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 40mm coarse aggregates in sub stations and proper levelling complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge

Supply only 11 KV HT VCB operating mechanism with motor operated spring charged system assembly including coil assembly with 24 Volts DC auxiliary supply system works satisfactorily and testing complete all as specified and directed
