Supply ,Installation, Testing and Commissioning of (VDS/LPCB approved under EN listed/standards or UL/FM approved under NFPA listed/ standards) Addressable fully networkable fire alarm control Panel suitable for the devices as stated in the previous item of this BOQ along with 20% spare capacity with each loop loading exceeding 80% of the capacity of detectors & devices taken together complying to per IS-2189 : 2008 or its latest ammendment and with minimum 600 character alpha-neumeric liquid crystal display. The panel should be soft addressable type and shall be able to give pin point location of all fire/fault conditions. Furthermore the Panel must be able to automatically switch-off the respective control switches with help monitor module whenever any module is triggered. The Panel must be able to store sufficient number of log events in its Memory as per recommended standards.

The panel shall have in built rectifier, provision for external & internal Printer (if required), Loop cards, LCD unit to indicate Fire/Fault Signal with address and analog output, complete in all respects, in-built surge protection facilty, integral SMF lead acid batteries with sealed cells of 24 V with integral battery charger complete as required and capable for 24 hrs normal working and then be capable of operating the system for 2 hours during an emergency conditions as required. The FACP capable of being networked(future expansion) with other similar FACP located at different parts of the premises through single RS 485 modbus. The FACP shall have provision for interfacing with Public Address system, remote computer and BMS interface. The system must be preloaded with licenced software. Supplying and fixing 20 mm PVC Rigid Conduit 'FR' [Precision Make] of following sizes on wall, ceiling with saddles and other accessories as required and mending good damages to building works [E-16/7(a)]

NOTE : The Fire Alarm system shall comply with latest requirements of -- 1. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards. 2. IS 2189 3. NFPA 70 National Electric Code 4. NFPA 72 National Fire Alarm & Signaling Code 5. Local Statutory Regulations 6. Manufacturer Recommendation.

TESTS : 1.The system shall be tested and commissioned by a qualified competent,trained engineer or technician authorized by the manufacturer of the fire alarm equipment to technically supervise and participate during all of the adjustments and tests for the system. 2. Before energizing the cables and wires, check for correct connections and test for short circuits, ground faults, continuity, and insulation and other tests as per above standards must be done. 3. The Commissioning Manuals, Tools , Dongles, USB Token, Software, or whatever is required for the Commissioning of the FACP, in whatever name it called must be handed over to the EIC, along with the passwords of the panel. 4. Four copies of Single Line Diagram (SLD), Block Diagram with proper speification of whole system should be submitted to the E.I.C. Training programme for software installation, formatting, bypass defective devices, rectification of malfunctioning and all other essential process related to the operation of system should also be given to Engineers under this Division.

1. The Agency must procure the materials from the Manufacturer / OEM or from their authorised sales channel so that the standard warranty / support of the Manufacturer / OEM becomes applicable to the products to be delivered and installed by them. 2. Documents that authenticates such procurement from the Manufacturer / OEM or from their authorized sales channel and standard warranty / support should be sent from the e-mail of the Manufacturer / OEM / authorized sales channel to the e-mail of Engineer-in-Charge and hard copy of it to be submitted during execution, of work/submission of bill. 3. All the system components --FACP, Detectors, Manual Call Point, Response Indicator, Isolator Module, Output control Module, Powered sounder etc. should be provided of same manufacurer/brand. 4. If any refurbished material is supplied and installed, penal action will be taken as per existing rules.
