REPAIR/ MAINT OF CERTAIN INTERNAL ROADS AND ROAD FURNITURES AT JUTOGH CANTT UNDER GE JUTOGH

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scouring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces/filled pot hole surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with Air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc in black top surfaces complete all as specified.

Applying evenly priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using Paving bitumen of grade VG- 10 at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using mechinical sprayer complete all as specified.

Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5 % binder content using paving bitumen of Grade VG 10 by weight of total mix, spread by means of mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with power roller 8 to 10 tonne to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified. Note : (i) Automatic hot mixing plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of aggregate, bitumen etc for premix semi dense asphaltic concrete and mix for both items shall be laid with mechanical pavers. (ii) Quantity of bitumen in semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used as per design mix and shall be approved by the GE. Any variation in quantity of bitumen in desigm mix shall be priced as specified in the particular specification through deviation order. Unit rate quoted shall deemed to include the cost of design mix.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scouring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 30 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat using paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, using paving bitumen of grade VG-10, binder content 4% by weight of total mix, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blended with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces not exceeding 50mm deep in area not exceeding 400 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade VG-10, any penetration,binder content of 4% by weight of total mix, binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size laid/rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient (consolidated thickness 50mm) with power roller 8 to 10 tonne to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

1.5 to 2 mm thick road marking strip (reflective) of specified shade colour using hot thermostatic material by fully automatic thermostatic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, gun beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater driven by skilled operator on road surface including cost of material & labour, T&P, sealing the road surface of all dirt scales oil greases and foreign material etc complete all as specified and directed and as per the specification of the applicator.

Solar stud of size 125x125x25 mm made from aluminium alloy body powered by monocrystal solar panel with high capcity Ni-Cd rechargeable battery , LEDs-010 mm, 3 pieces each side and total 6 pieces as used for high brightness of different colors, back up 12 hours of continuous lighting at night of any color etc fixed in replacement complete all as specified and directed.

Cat eyes of dimensions 8.1x11.56x1.7 cm metallic body with two way reflector & abrasion resistant lens including fixing arrangement as per manufacturer's instructions (to be fixed at the centre of the road) fixed in replacement complete all as specified and directed.

HDPE orange plastic round spring post traffic divider for roads,total height 600mm including fixing arrangement as per manufacturer's instructions (to be fixed at the centre of the road) fixed in replacement complete all as specified and directed.

Delineator made out of 40 mm bore 'light grade 'MS pipe of length 1200 mm duly powder coated in color bands, high intensity, micro-prismatic grade, retro-reflective fittings, having the tip of pipe 100 mm red with upper and lower border of 25 mm yellow stripping, fixed in replacement. The fitting portion protected by MS jali fixed on road side (is embedded in PCC 1:3:6 of minimum size 40x40x40 cm ) including earth work complete all as specified and directed.

50mm wide Radium sticker reflective sticker strip of any colour including removing/sticking at any type of surface complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) ,each hole size not exceeding 0.50cu.m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and making good surface in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Cement concrete type C2 1:3:6 (using 40mm graded aggregates) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of existing steel/wooden road signage board complete all as specified and directed.

Tubular stainless steel pipe with top knobs including welding for signage board in vertica/horizontal including fixing of board etc with special shaped washers etc complete all as specified and directed.

5mm thick aluminium composite board with radium printed self adhesive film sheet on both side of board including engraving/itching letter/logo design/photo as required complete all as specified and directed.

100 cm dia convex mirror made up of polycarbonate reflective mirror of ABS body complete with mounting hardware, clamp and GI pipe 65mm dia of required height etc fixed in repair including PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 foundation of size 400x400x600 mm and necessary earth work excavation complete all as specified and directed:

Taking down plastering of any description and in any position in cement mortar on brick or stone walls etc including raking out joints ,hacking for key,scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering 20 mm thick on fair faces of stone surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 etc complete all as specified.

Preparing new or previously untreated concrete, asbestos cement or plaster surfaces of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and including a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing old painted surfaces of concrete, asbestos cement or plaster surfaces of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed .

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed .

100 mm thick Plain Cement Concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm gragded crushed aggregate as in sub base for flooring, complete all as specified and as directed.

Sand filling below paver block complete all as specified and directed.

Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking laquer finish coloured paver block ,(using M-40 Grade design mix concrete) of any size and shape confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thick, with grey cement and pigment etc complete all as specified.

Cement concrete (1:2:4) type B0 with 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in kerbs, plinth courses, parapets , copings etc complete all as specified and as directed.
