Supply and mix alumina ferric (Grade-I) suitable for purification of drinking water in the form of solid lumps/slabs from the manufacturer having valid BIS certificate as specified in table 1 of IS: 299-2012 complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Each block of alumina ferric (Grade-I) supplied by the contractor should have a marking indicating weight of the slab and manufacturing date and be in proper packing. (ii) The alumina ferric (Grade-I) supplied by the contractor shall only be of any make/manufacturer having ISI mark certification and shall conform to IS 299. (iii) The contractor shall submit the lab test report from any Govt approved lab of the alumina ferric supplied to ensure that the alumina ferric supplied is conforming to IS 299 (iv) All the alumina ferric (Grade-I) supplied by the contractor shall be received under a proper receipt voucher and the same shall be entered in MB.

Preparation of old surfaces of CI/DI/GI pipe 300 to 20 mm bore by removing old paint and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint on all external surfaces of CI/DI pipe for rising supply, overflow and washout 100mm bore vertical length including necessary scaffolding and other arrangement required for painting complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for excavation in mud or stones by using special T&P such as JCB or POK Land, etc for protection of CI/DI pipe of 300 mm dia, firmly fixing the pipe in the excavated trench with necessary means such as PCC, MS Clamps on PCC base etc to avoid any movement of pipe during floods and covering the pipe with necessary material complete all as specified and directed..
