Maintenance of pipelines irrespective of size and material which includes repairing of bursts and leakages, pollution control, survey and removal of choking, disconnection of illegal connections, collection and recording minimum 10 nos. residual chlorine samples during daily supply timings, interconnections and all works related to pipeline network in existing distribution/ rising main pipelines of all sizes by digging out suitable size of pit in soft and loose soil/ hard soil including cutting of black top, WBM and CC top of road of any size at work site. This will also include cutting of pipe ends, fixing of pipe piece with jjointing material to make repair leak proof and refilling of pit by excavated sand by ramming it at sides of pipes and upto ground level. For entire job, contractor will use their own T&P. Contractor with his own resources shall arrange de-watering, JCB and tractor compressor if any and restore any amenity at his own cost damaged while performing the work in this item. The work includes daily patrolling and repair the leakages within stipulated time and complete maintenance of pipeline network of rising and distribution pipeline network within the scope of work for per km pipeline per month. Jointing material shall be provided by the department. Minimum labour for a following kms pipelines to be deployed: (132.68 KM)Providing, lowering, laying in trenches, aligning, fixing in position and jointing Ductile Iron (DI) ISI marked K-7 grade S&S pipes as per IS:8329-2000 (amended up to date), with internal cement mortar lining suitable for potable water with rubber ring (EPDM) joints as per IS: 5382-1985 including all taxes (Central and local), transportation and freight charges, inspection charges, loading/ unloading charges, including cost of labour and material, specials (Tee, bend etc.) satisfactory hydraulic testing, disinfection, commissioning etc. complete as per technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (excluding earth work) Note : Providing and fixing of all requisite specials as per drawing, design and layout are inclusive in RM measurement of the item and shall not be paid separately.

Maintenance of tubewells which includes round the clock monitoring of tubewells of all sizes, complete repairs / rewinding Of submersible pump sets including cost of material components required to repair pumpsets, starters, meters etc. of electric panel of tube wells, Lowering and unlowering of pumpsets complete in all respect, maintenance of log-books & Histroy sheet as directed by Engineerin-charge for tubewell per month. For Rural water supply schemes.

Running expenditure of pumphouses which includes complete operation of pump motor, maintenance of log-books as directed by Engineer-In-charge, general upkeeping of premises, security arrangements, Regular chemical dosing in CWR, cleaning and desilting of SR/CWR/SUMP once every six months, daily valve operation under the Campus of pump house and all other works as mentioned in scope of work in tender document for per pump house per month, (power supply minimum 16 hrs) (excluding repairing of pumping machinery etc.)

Maintenance of centrifugal pump sets and motor/ Monoblock including cost of rewinding of motor, material components & accessories required to repair pumpsets, starters etc. of electric panels, deinstallation and re installation of pumpsets complete in all respect for per Centrifugal pump set with pannel per month, maintenance of histroy sheet as directed by Engineer-in-charge for centrifugal pump set per month. Operated load of Centrifugal Pump sets (HP)

Routine maintenance of centrifugal coupled pump and motor including opening, cleaning, greasing and refitting/changing of ball bearing; if required, gland refilling and replacing all rusted studs, replacing rubber bushes & coupling nut & bolts for coupling pulley, tightening all Checking nut &, bolts and of correcting foundation alignment of baseplate,of pump pump & motor & motor etc. including necessary materials i.e. grease, nut & bolts, studs, washers, gland packing and rubber bushes etc. work done at site complete job

Cleaning of pump house by air blower/ vacuum cleaner or other means including removing of JALA from ceiling and walls etc. complete Job
Cleaning of Electric Panel PMCC by air blower/vacuum cleaner or other means including tightening of loose connections etc. complete job.
Proviting and fixing of powter factor control capacitor panel with MTC. On monthly rental basis. The resposbility of controctor is to maintain minimum power factor 0.96. If the contractor failed to maintain minimum PF, and any surcharge on this levied by AVVNL, the same be deducted from payment of contractor.
