Construction of boundary wall and stone pitching work for storm water drainage on West and North side of new NSDF area at BARCF, Kalpakkam

Clearing light jungle area, bulb weeds, grass including cutting all unwanted plants, branches, twigs, wild growth etc. complete, and disposing the same 100metres away manually or burning them without disturbing other areas etc., complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Contractor must be informed to Engineer-in-charge and prior permission shall be obtained from him for burning the wild growth.

Earth work excavation for by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) or manual means for foundations, substructures, plint beam, cess pits and all kinds of foundation etc. in all types of soil like hard gravekky soil, sandy soil for the following depth from average ground level upto the required founding level, line and grades in both dry and wet conditions including shoring, strutting, bailing out of water if necessary, levelling and ramming the bottom of trenches, dressing of sides, stacking the excavated materials away from the edge of trenches, refilling the sides of foundation as required with selected excavated earth and depositing / disposing the surplus excavated earth (disposed soil to be leveled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed and levelled) within the lead specified below all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.All kinds of soil with depth upto 1.5m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth upto a lead of 50 metres.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:4.5:8 using 25mm maximum size graded aggregate including machanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, leveling, shuttering, curing, dewatering if any, complete all as per specifications for levelling courses in foundation for walls, footing, floor drains, etc as directed by engineer incharge complete all as per specification.

Supplying and filling the selected earth from outside of DAE installation (with a lead of 28 kilometres) including excavation from borrow pits if any required. Filling in layer of not more than 150mm thick, each layer well rammed and consolidated by mechanical roller including water consolidation etc. levelling, dressing the top surface to the required level, comlying with standard specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Proper trip sheet recordsshall be maintained for bringing the earth through DAE main gate with security stamp duly signed by Departmental Engineer.

Providing and constructing random rubble masonry in cement morter 1:6 using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry with bond stones at 2.00 metres apart for storm water drain walls, including sizing of stones if required, raking out joints, curing etc., complete all as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge at all lifts.

Providing Flush pointing over the random rubble masonary wall with cement mortar 1:3 at all levels including scaffolding , curing , forming grooves whereever necessary all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and forming dry stone pitching of 230mm thick over the filled earth surface including laying to the required grade and slope, packing and filling the intersects with broken stone and gravel, watering, compaction etc., complete in all respects all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and constructing brick masonry at all lifts using well burnt stock bricks in cement mortar 1:5 including suitable scaffolding, raking out joints, curing complete as per specifications and drawings for foundation, superstructure, etc. for the following floors: For basement and ground floor

Providing plastering to the external surfaces of brickwork/concrete at all elevations in cement mortar 1:5, 20mm thick in two coats including hacking of concrete surfaces with pointed tool, scaffolding, finishing, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary, all as per specifications.

Providing and laying 40mm thick Indian patent stone flooring and skirting with cement 1:2:4, using 10mm and below size hard broken granite stone jelly including dividing strips, laying in panels, consolidating, curing, rubbing the surface smooth, cleaning the surface neatly at the time of handing over the area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer.
