Carrying out Civil Engineering works like surveying & leveling, checking of formwork fabrication, reinforcement fabrication as per drawings, witnessing sample retrieval & testing for various construction materials, ensuring concrete ingredient ratio at batching plant and pouring of appropriate grade of concrete in plain and reinforced concrete works, ensuring proper mixing of approved ingredients & waterproofing admixtures for mortars and brickwork, plaster, flooring & waterproofing works, and other civil & PH works including supervision of construction safety as per BARC specifications & relevant doCuMentation, compiling, binding and preparation of tender doCuMents & Agreements overall as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (1)Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Diploma holder/Licentiate in Civil/Construction Engineering / Technology conducted by Board of Technical Examinations / University/ Autonomous Govt / Govt recognized recognized Polytechnic/ Institute. (2)Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the person will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account.(3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out 1 Job per month for the period mentioned in NIT.(4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis per month. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one engineer exclusively for the particular job.

Providing Structural steel work in M.S Plain Plates and chequrred Plates for Embedded Parts, Trench Covers, Connection plates etc.including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved zinc chromate steel primer etc.including cost of structural steel Plates, welding all labour charges etc. complete as per drawings and specifications.

Using materials produced by the own plants of SAIL , RINL (Vizag Steel) and TATA only using virgin materials. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials

Providing Structural steel work using angles, channels, joists and other sections, welded and / or bolted in built up sections for trusses , structural steel floors, frame works, monorails and other structures including supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting, fixing in position, applying a priming coat of approved steel primer etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge

Up to and including 300 mm Joists, 350 mm channels, and below sections Using materials manufactured confirming to IS: 2062. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials. Notes : 1. Structural steel confirming to IS 2062 shall be supplied.2. Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rates.3. Welding Electrodes manufactured by M/s. Advani Oerlicon / ESAB India & D& H of specified suitable grade only shall be used.4. Holes to be drilled only by Drilling machines and gas cutting of holes are not permitted .5. Rate inclusive of all consumables like GAS, welding electrodes and tools and tackles etc.

Providing and fixing Soundtrap Wooden Perforated/Slotted Tiles of size 595mm x 595mm, made up from High Density Moisture Resistant Board (HDMR) of 12mm thickness, having perforation area of 3mm to10mm and slotted area of appropriate size, fixed with High Quality Acoustic Fleece. The Panel should be Highly resistance to humidity (RH:99%), water vapour diffusion resistance (as per ISO-12572-2016 standards), zero mold growth (as per EN-15101-1 standards), Highly versatile and (Class A) flame retardant (as per BS-3119 standards, IS-15061 standards) and Thermal conductivity (as per EN12667 standards). INSTALLATION : The Tiles should be fixed on precoated GI T-Grid of 25mm, having the grid work of 600x600mm with suspension, wall angles, runners and all other accessories. Tile colour should be as per approval from the Architect/Engineer in charge. The Panel should have an Avg NRC of 0.75

Supply & Fixing Aluminium perforated/plain Tile Ceiling System having perforation size of 2mm dia, pitch of 2.15/4.3mm c/c, size of 600 x 600mm/600x1200mm Tiles made of 0.5/0.7 mm thick powder coated aluminium with the acoustic PET Sheet Sandwiched in the perforation/plain tile. The metal ceiling panels shall be accessible from down with a torsion spring system as per manufacturer recommendation. INSTALLATION : The Panel shall be in Global white colour tile to be laid on grid systems with 25mm/15mm wide T-section flanges colour white having rotary stitching on the Main Runner, 1200mm and 600mm Cross Tees. The Main Runners: 24mm deep, inverted “Tee” sections, 3m long, Wall angle : 15mm x 15mm with Suspension of 12 gauge Hanger wire along with pre-stretched galvanized steel Or 4mm Threaded Rod with butterfly leveler. The system should meet Fire retardant standard of BS 476: Part 6 & Part 7. The Acoustic panel should have an average sound absorption of NRC 0.75. The paneling shall be finished as per the design, sizes, colour, pattern and joints as directed by the architect or Engineer in charge, including scaffolding, cut-outs, joints and all other elements complete in all respect.

Providing and Fixing of Acoustic Ceiling Baffles made of 100% Polyethylene Terephthalate material having size of panel 150mm(H) x 50mm(W) x 1200(L), with impregnated bolts for hanging vertically from ceiling, achieving 0.95 NRC/equivalent Sabin. Bolts supported from ceiling using SS wire of min. 1mm dia. Each baffle must be hung vertically using 2 suspension bolts only and levelled in perfect plane. Highly resistance to humidity (RH:99%), water vapour diffusion resistance (as per ISO-12572-2016 standards), zero mold growth (as per EN-15101-1 standards), Highly versatile and (Class A) flame retardant (as per BS-3119 standards, IS-15061 standards) and Thermal conductivity (as per EN12667 standards)Work shall be complete inclusive of all fixing, adhesives & hardware. Color shall be as per Architect approval.

Providing and fixing in position Acoustical Polyethylene Terephthalate Sheet Panel of size 2400mm x 1200mm, made up from compressed polyester Fibre of 12mm thickness, 1600 GSM Density. The Tech-Panel should be Highly resistance to humidity (RH:99%), water vapour diffusion resistance (as per ISO-12572-2016 standards), zero mold growth (as per EN-15101-1 standards), Highly versatile and (Class A) flame retardant (as per BS-3119 standards, IS-15061 standards) and Thermal conductivity (as per EN12667 standards), The product should have an acoustical performance of 0.80 NRC. INSTALLATION : The Sheet Panel should be fixed on Anodised Aluminium framework of 50mmx50mmx1.5mm equally spaced and welded at distance of 600x600mm center to center, Anodised Aluminium hollow space section should be filled with Polyurethane sound resistance chemical. The wall should be treated with 2mm Mass Loaded Vinyl Membrane and Suitable Wall Isolators should be fixed to the frame to achieve the STC of 30dBA. The frame infill should be of 50mm Polysynth (density 1000 GSM). The framework should be finished with 10mm Marine-ply having 22 to 25mm Helmholtz perforations. The exposed surface of the ply should be treated with finishing material of 12mm Non-woven panel by using heavy duty proprietory resin/adhesive. The paneling shall be finished as per the design, sizes, colour, and joints as directed by the architect, including scaffolding, cut-outs, joints and all other elements complete in all respect.

Providing and Fixing of Acoustic Wooden Sound Trap Slats of width 128/192mm, thickness of 18mm and length 2440 mm, made of HDMR (high density moisture resistant) board substrate of FR grade, with a laminated facing as per the approved shade/ species & finish and a melamine balancing layer on the reverse side. The boards shall have a special Helmholtz perforation pattern on the reverse side of the panel and the pitch, grooves design on the front side will be as per the Architects/Consultants requirement. The edges of the panel shall be tongue-grooved pattern for fixing and getting a seamless surface finish. The back surface of the panel should be provided with high quality acoustic fleece. The panels shall be mounted and fixed on the Z-Bar/Strut channel with clipping system. INSTALLATION : The vapour barrier membrane (recommended by manufacturer) shall be mounted on the vertical surface of the wall before the installation of the Aluminium framework. The Aluminium framework of 50x50mmx2.0mm shall be fixed with suitable isolator (as per recommended by manufacturer) infilled with poly-wad (50mm) of 1000 GSM/25mm RGB of Density 96 kg/m3. The framework shall be placed at 600mm x 600mm c/c both ways and 10mm marine Ply with Helmholtz perforations shall be fixed on the frame. Construction, adhesives and accessories shall be as per the instructions laid down by the manufacturer, including scaffolding and removing the same if required. The product should have an acoustical performance of 0.85 NRC.

Providing and Fixing of 150mm wide, 25mm thick, 2700mm Length Acoustic Real Solid flutted ThermoAsh Thermo-treated perforated wooden panels, with tongue and groove joints, fixed with aluminium Z bar, over 50mm X 25mm anodised aluminium framework, with Polywool infill and acoustic fleece, complete in all respects, as per architect/engg in charge.

The paneling shall be finished as per the design, sizes, colour, and joints as directed by the architect, including scaffolding, cut-outs, joints and all other elements complete in all respect. The product should have an acoustical performance of 0.80 NRC.

Providing and Fixing of Acoustical Fabric Wall Paneling of 25mm Thickness placed and tucked on stretch vinyl tracks. The fabric panel shall have RGB infill of 25mm thickness with Density of 96 Kg/m3, having recycle content of 85%, with Freudenberg acoustic fleece and wrapped on the front side with an acoustically transparent and breathable fabric Fire Retardant grade as per BS EN1021 and IS-1561-2002 and should have Hydroguard property for water & stain repellency and Abrasion value of around 90000 cycles, with an option of colors, size, dimensions, etc – as per the design and choice of the Architect, giving an average sound absorption level of 0.85 NRC. INSTALLATION: The vapour barrier membrane (recommended by manufacturer) shall be mounted on the vertical surface of the wall before the installation of the Aluminium framework. The Anodised Aluminium framework of 50x50mmx1.5mm shall be fixed with suitable isolator, with an air gap of 50mm (as per recommended by manufacturer). Anodised Aluminium hollow space section should be filled with Polyurethane sound resistance chemical. The Framework will be in-filled with poly-wad (50mm thickness) of 1000 GSM/25mm thick RGB of density 96 Kg/m3 one side and on the inner side with chicken wire mesh/2mm Hazen Cloth. The framework shall be placed at 600mm x 600mm c/c both ways and 12mm marine Ply with helmholtz perforation shall be fixed on the frame. Construction, adhesives and accessories shall be as per the instructions laid down by the manufacturer, including scaffolding and removing the same if required.

Providing and Fixing of 100mm Thick fixed Drywall Partition made out of 10mm thick Calcium Silicate sheet (on both sides of the frame), fixed on a GI framework of 50 x 32 x 32 x 0.55mm floor ceiling channels, 50 x 41 x 44 x 0.55mm studs placed at 600mm C/C, and 99 x 9.5 x 0.91mm fixing channels placed at 900mm C/C. The framework infill shall be filled with RGB of 48 Kg/m3 Density, then cladded with 2mm High density Membrane Sheet (on both sides) and 12mm MR Plywood sheet (on both Sides). The finishing material will as per architects/clients choice. (Rate of finishing material will be extra). All exposed gaps, corners, holes will be sealed using PU foam/Sealants. Installation shall be carried out as per Manufacturers recommended procedure only.

Supply and Installation of Acoustic Door of STC 40dBA. The Door frame made by size 100mm x 75mm Tanzania/Brazil teak wood section, with necessary cutting to size and providing double rebate with acoustic Sound seal (German Made) all around. Acoustical door shutter comprising 10mm thick Marine ply on both sides with shutter frame shall be of 40mm x 65mm, the shutters door cavity shall be filled with sandwich infill of 40 mm thick RGB (48 Kg/m3) and 12 mm MDF on either sides with 2mm thick HDPM sheet pasted on calcium silicate. A Hollow bulb type sponge neoprene/EPDM gasket to be applied on double rebates of the door leaf and (German Made) door drop down seal to be fixed to bottom edge of door leaf. The Doors to be hung with 125mm x 80 x 6mm thick heavy duty SS matt finish hinges 4 No per door leaf as per requirement and heavy duty door closure system as per overall requirement. The door will have all suitable accessories and hardware suitable for the door like 600mm Handle, door Lock, Tower Bolt, etc. Note: Frame polish not included in the door. 1mm laminate finish of appropriate colour will applied on both sides of the door shutter.

Providing and fixing 35 mm thick flush door shutters conforming to IS : 2202 non-decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched commercial 3 ply veneering with internal teak wood lipping 25mm wide and fixing with 4 Nos of 125 mm long Stainless steel Hinges with S.S. wood screws complete.

Supply and fixing of Acoustic Fabric curtains (Velvet), of 500Gms/mtr, having 54" width, 40000 cycles Abrasion resistance, having colour fastness of 4 no. wet cycle and 5 no. dry cycles, fixed to the curtain Rods with approved quality powder coated aluminium rings/eyeles as required. The curtain shall be stitched with Double pinch French pleats, including 25mm dia SS Curtain rod of approved quality along with providing the suitable brackets/support with all accessories, Colour and pattern etc complete.as approved by Architect/Engg in charge, complete in all respects.

Supply & fixing of Access floor panels shall be of high performance grade, made from prime quality steel with light weight cementious core of size 600 x 600 x 32mm. The panels shall be finished with high pressure laminated of high abrasion, anti-static tile with surface resistivity in ohms – 1x 10 to the fifth power – 1 x 10 to ninth power; Volume resistivity – 1 x 10 to fifth power to 1 x 10 eight power in size 600 x 600 x 1.60mm, cut at 45 degree along every edge of the panel panel to avoid edge chipping, breakages, pealing of beading, lateral deflections & scratching between 2 panels. The bottom of the panel shall be embossed in hemispherical shape to give strength and flexural rigidity. The entire panel shall be finished with electro deposition of cathodic epoxy coat on exposed surface for lifetime protection. The panels will be placed on pedestals and stringers made from all steel zinc plated construction. Pedestal & stringer assembly provide will have easy adjustments of leveling and accurately align panels to ensure lateral restrain. Pedestal heads are designed to avoid rattle or squeaks. The height of the Access floor shall be adjusted upto 300mm height as per the requirement. The steel Based plate of the pedestal will be fixed on the sub-floor with epoxy pedestal adhesives.

Providing & Fixing of Expanding Foam for filling 300mm height and sealing awkward gaps, hollows and cavities, to insulates against heat, sound and moisture. Contracter should take Care to clean the floor removing all loose material & grease & shall be Applied Below 5 deg.or Above 25 deg.C Complete in all respects as per Architect/Engg In charge.

Providing and fixing of 3.5mm thick MLV Sheet, laid over existing floor, as per manufacturers instructions, complete in all respects as per Architect/Engg In charge

Providing and fixing 120mm x 12mm thk. BTC skirting fixed on the wall/partition/panelling with required screws. The skirting is finished with melamine polish of approved colour etc complete.

Providing and fixing 12mm thk BWP marine on existing partition frame / wall / etc. with necessary hardware with 1mm laminate / veneer of approved shade / colour all complete as per architect's instructions & Detail Drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing 3 mm thick veneer, approved make and shade fixed over suitable base like cement board in wall cladding etc. The quoted rate shall include all tools & tackles, consumables, nails & screws etc., transportation, labours , all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing 18mm thk BWP marine ply on existing partition frame / wall / etc. with necessary hardware with 1mm laminate / veneer of approved shade / colour all complete as per architect's instructions & Detail Drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing Melamine polishing on wood work (one coat) as per manufacturers instructions, matt or glossy finish as specified including preparation of the surfaces, complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and fixing GLAZED VITRIFIED FLOOR TILES in floor and dado of approved make in different sizes conforming to IS 15622 in all colours and shades in Glossy or Matt or satin finish laid over a bed of minimum 20 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 (using Crushed sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry including grouting with the joints with white cement based Tile Grout of approved make and matching shade complete as per patterns, drawings and specifications complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed floor tiles of minimum 300 - 600 mm long and 300 - 600 mm wide and thickness not less than 6 mm conforming to IS 15622 of approved make in all colours and shades as approved by Engineer-in-charge over a bed of 20 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 (using crushed sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry including pointing with white cement based Tile grout of approved make and matching shade complete as per patterns, drawings and specifications complete as directed by the Enginner-in-charge

Supplying and injecting with approved quality chemical emulsion at the rates and concentrations as per IS 6313-2001 Part II, mixed with Keroscene and chemical and giving post Anti-termite treatment to wooden door and window frames of existing buildings as per manufacturers specifications or as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Work to be executed by approved agency and specified guarantee for 7 (Seven) years shall be furnished by the tenderer. Payment will be cleared only after submission of guarantee.

Providing and fixing IS: 3564 marked aluminium die cast body tubular type universal hydraulic door closer of approved make with necessary accessories and screws etc. in wooden doors / steel doors with necessary bolts & nuts complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clear story openings and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position of required size and shape including sawing, jointing,making rebates for shutters, making grooves as shown in the drawings, finishing the surfaces to the required finish all as per specifications and drawings including necessary MS hold fasts 40 mm X 3 mm thick, 200 mm long / with coach screws including protective painting to the suface that will come in contact with walls, joining materials, labour etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Fabrication, supply and installation / fixing on wall of SS lettering in English "TRAINING SCHOOL COMPLEX" and Hindi "प्रशिक्षण विद्यालय परिसर". The letter shall be of SS304 grade Imported SS Gold PVD Coated , 18" HT., 25 mm deep, 1.2mm thick and proportionate width as per approved shop drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

The Reporting time at the place of duty / as instructed by EIC shall be considered for the billing / measurement / payment. 3. In case the pick up van is parked inside BARC premises then the reporting time of the driver to EIC shall be considered for the billing/ measurement/ payment. 4. Break Down Hours as per actuals and Lunch break (30 min.) timings shall not be considered for payment. 5. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at the time of preparing the Running / final bills 6. BARC being a restricted place, the driver should have good credentials and shall have valid Police Verification / Clearance Certificate (PVC), driving license and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English / local language. 7. The make and model of the vehicle should not be more than 8 years old, roadworthy with all valid doCuMents. 8. The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically for safe and incident-free driving. 9. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision shall be final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 10. The vehicle should be a transport vehicle and preferably in white colour with a board "ON GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DUTY". 11. The cost of POL, maintenance and servicing of 'vehicle including replacement of parts, payment to the driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability on these accounts. 12. The cost of damages to any Government movable/immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the Contractor. 13. The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, including Goods & Service taxes (GST). 14. The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to the driver while executing the job. 15. The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra. 16. No revision of price shall be entertained during the period of contract. 17. Hours more / less than 8 Hrs. a day will be paid / deducted on pro-rata basis. 18. In case of absence of Driver/vehicle for entire week, a compensation of Rs. 3000 /- per week, for not providing the service, will be levied on the contractor for that week.
