Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc in black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.
Applying evenly a priming/tack coat of viscosity grade paving bitumen VG-10 confirming to IS-73 : 2006 @5 kgs /10 sqm on black surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.
Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 6% binder content by weight by total mix, using paving bitumen of VG-10 grade rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. Note : (i) Automatic hot mixing plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of aggregate, bitumen etc for premix semi dense asphaltic concrete and mix for both items shall be laid with mechanical pavers. (ii) Quantity of bitumen in semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used as per design mix and shall be approved by the GE. Any variation in quantity of bitumen in desigm mix shall be priced as specified in the particular specification through deviation order. Unit rate quoted shall deemed to include the cost of design mix.
Premix bituminious macadam (Consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with binder content 4% by weight of total mix & rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and compacted to required camber, gradient complete all as specified and as directed.
2.5mm thick road marking strip (reflective) of specified shade colour using hot thermostatic material by fully automatic thermostatic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, gum beds dispenser propane tank healers and profile shoe heater driven by skilled operator on road surface including cost of materials labour, T&P, sealing the road surface of all dirt, scales,oil greases and foreign material etc. complete as per direction strictly in accordance to applicator specification.
Applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer of viscosity grade paving bitumen VG-10 confirming to IS-73 : 2006 @10 kgs /10 sqm on black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.
