Earthwork in open Excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) in all types of soil, mixture of gravel, disintegrated rock, hard stiff clay, soft rock, hard rock including bailing of water, if necessary, dressing of sides, shoring, benching, levelling and ramming the bottom surfaces, with lift as given below and disposal of excavated earth within a lead of 50 metres, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

All kinds of soil - Upto 1.5 mtr depth from AGL

All kinds of soil - Exceeding 1.50 mtr depth but not exceeding 3.00 mtr depth

Clearing light jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, removal of rubbish upto a distance of 100m outside the periphery of the area cleared, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Clearing heavy jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level, removal of rubbish upto a distance of 60m outside the periphery of the area cleared, cutting and stacking the useful fire wood if any within an initial lead of 100 mtrs etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Disposal of surplus excavated earth/ash/Debris by collecting, loading, transporting by mechanical means and unloading them at places as shown by the Department within a lead specified below and levelling, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of rock from the corresponding stack / truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Upto 1 Km or part thereof

Exceeding 2 Km but not exceeding 3 Kms

Providing a system for dewatering and drainage of water from site to main drain so as to retain the excavated formation dry for the duration required including all equipment's, consumables, site protection, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer- in-Charge.

Supplying and filling in basement and foundation with Crusher Dust / quarry sand including conveyance by lorry load, filling in layers of not more than 200mm in depth, each layer shall be well consolidated including watering, and dressing, levelling and dressing the top surface, etc., all complete as per standard specifications and as directed by Engineer.

Providing gravel base of approved thickness for flooring, kerbwall, etc., including supplying gravel, spreading gravel in uniform layers, watering, ramming, consolidating, dressing the top surface to the required level, etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position of plain cement concrete using hard granite broken stone for all insitu levelling courses in foundations, floor, roof screeding, encasing pipes, etc., including mechanical mixing, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, dewatering, if any including the cost of formwork etc., all complete as per specifications.

1 : 3 : 6 (1 cement : 3 sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size)

Providing, erecting, placing in position and removing Formwork for all insitu concrete works at all lifts and all shapes such as circular works, chamfers, splays, etc., using Steel / Plywood shuttering including centering, scaffolding, strutting, propping with necessary bracing in all areas, fixing of EPs, cutting holes and fixing pipe sleeves, applying of approved form oil over surface in contact with concrete, de-shuttering after specified curing period, etc., all complete as per drawings and specifications. [Note: Measurement for the formwork shall be the area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Stop boards for construction joints will not be measured separately for payment. Centering and shuttering where exceeding 3.5m height in one floor shall be measured and paid for separately.]

For Plain Surfaces upto 3.5m height

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side at all height made with 40mm diameter M.S. tube spaced @ 1.5m center to center at both horizontal and vertical tubes, joining with cup and lock system with M.S.tube, M.S.tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc., and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners connection with the building, etc., Wherever required for the inspection of work at required location with essential safety features for the workmen, etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. (Note: The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.)

Providing and casting insitu Reinforced Cement Concrete of the following grades of design mix by Weigh batching using machine crushed hard broken granite stone of nominal size 20mm including cost of admixtures in recommended proportion wherever required, mechanical mixing, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidation, curing, finishing smooth all exposed faces, for all insitu concrete items, etc., as per drawings and specifications. Note: 1) The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement and formwork which will be paid for separately under relevant items. 2) The rate of concrete shall include the cost of admixture in recommended proportions as per IS 9103 as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 3) Cement proportion for Concrete Mix shall be on the basis of weigh batching only as per design mix. 4) The cost towards any upward / downward variation required to obtain the specified strength over the minimum cement content will be paid for or deducted at the rate specified in Schedule 'F'.

M 30 Grade Concrete (The Cement content considered is 370 Kg per Cu.m)

Extra for finishing the fresh concrete pavement surface using vacuum dewatering system including vibrating the surface using screed vibrator, placing the filter mat, top mate, dewatering using vacuum pump, finishing the surface using power floater and power trowel, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, cutting, bending, placing and binding steel reinforcement using TMT bars of Fe-500D grade in all reinforced cement concrete works including cutting, bending, fixing, tieing in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire, cost of cover blocks in C.M 1:2, etc., complete as per specifications and drawings. [Important Note: The required quantity of steel reinforcement as mentioned in the schedule should be procured by the contractor only of SAIL, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (VIZAG), TATA Steel & JINDAL from authorised dealers which shall conform to IS: 1786 (Latest Edition).]

Providing and laying Random Rubble masonry in Cement mortar 1 : 6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) in foundation and plinth using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry including bond stones of 2 Nos/Sq.m at 1.5 to 1.8 mtrs apart, raking out joints, curing, etc., all as per standard specification.

Providing and laying Random Rubble masonry in Cement mortar 1 : 6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) in above plinth for compound wall using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry including bond stones of 2 Nos/Sq.m at 1.5 to 1.8 mtrs apart, raking out joints, flush pointing in CM 1:3 , scaffolding, forming grooves wherever required, curing, etc., all as per standard specification.

Providing and laying Random Rubble masonry in foundation and plinth using retrieved RR stone from dismantled RR masonry in Cement mortar 1 : 6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) including collecting, cleaning the old mortar from retrived stone, providing bond stones of 2 Nos/Sq.m at 1.5 to 1.8 Mtrs apart, raking out joints, sunk/flush points in CM 1:3, curing, etc., all as per standard specification. (Note:- Required quantity of RR stone will be supplied by department at free of cost).

Providing and laying coping on top of RR masonry in CM 1:4, 40mm thick and fixing with broken glass pieces including grouting with cement slurry curing scaffolding, etc., complete.

Providing and laying brick masonry in Cement Mortar 1:6 with well burnt chamber bricks / FALG Bricks of approved quality in all shapes and sizes including scaffolding, curing, raking out joints, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and constructing 110mm thick brick work in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement: 4 Coarse sand) for partition walls using well burnt chamber bricks / FALG Bricks of approved quality including supplying and providing 2 Nos. of 6/8mm MS rod at every third layer, scaffolding, curing etc., complete all as per specifications.

Providing and constructing Parapet brickwork in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement: 4 Coarse sand) using well burnt chamber bricks / FALG Bricks of approved quality at roof level, consisting of 110mm thick (Plus or Minus 5mm) brick work and 230 x 230mm size brick pillars at every 3 meters intervals and at junctions, corners, etc., as directed including scaffolding, curing, raking out joints, etc., all complete as per specifications and drawings.

Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5, 12mm thick for brickwork / Concrete on internal faces at all lifts including scaffolding, curing and forming grooves wherever necessary all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in­charge. [Note: 6mm premium glass fibre of make Dugar & Co or Recron shall be mixed with Cement @ 60 gms of glass fibre per 50kgs of cement]

Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5, 12mm thick for brickwork / Concrete on its external faces at all lifts including scaffolding, curing and forming grooves wherever necessary all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in­charge. [Note: 6mm premium glass fibre of make Dugar & Co or Recron shall be mixed with Cement @ 60 gms of glass fibre per 50kgs of cement]

Providing and laying Indian Patent Stone flooring of 25mm thick with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement: 2 Coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat Cement using 20/10mm and below size hard broken stones including laying in panels, cement slurry, consolidation, curing, rubbing the surfaces smooth etc., all complete as per specification.

Supplying, fabricating and fixing Structural Steel work in built up sections for gate, handrailing, trusses and framed work at all lifts comprising square / rectangular / Tubular hollow sections conforming to relevant IS standard of TATA or SAIL or approved equivalent make including cutting, welding, bending to required shape for curved profile, hoisting, fixing in position at all lifts, embedding with cement concrete, painting the exposed faces with 2 coats of metal coat PU finish paint of make MRF or other approved make over one coat of epoxy zinc phosphate primer with thinner 1110 Ep for epoxy primer and thinner for finish for metal coat paint as per manufacturer instructions, etc., all complete as per specifications and drawings. [Note: The rate shall be inclusive of lifting arrangements if any required to hoist, concrete embedment's and foundation bolts for fixing the steel works.]

Supplying, fabricating and fixing of EPs, Structural Steel work and pipe sleeves etc., at all lifts comprising MS angles, MS plates, tees flats, rounds, squares, other structural steel sections, pipe sleeves and pipes of various sizes, IS channels, IS beams, square rods, etc., of TATA or SAIL or approved equivalent make including cutting, welding, bending to shape, painting exposed faces with two coats of anti-corrosive paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer / zinc phosphate primer, embedding with Cement concrete, etc. complete all as per specifications and drawings. Note: The rate shall be inclusive of lifting arrangements if any required to hoist and concrete embedment's for fixing the steel works.

Supplying, fabricating and fixing of Foundation bolts for fixing truss made up of MS/TMT bars of approved dia. including cutting, bending to required shape, making thread of required pitch, providing suitable bolt, embedding in RCC using templates, fixing the bolts, painting the entire bolt with two coats of anti-corrosive paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer / zinc phosphate primer as per manufacturer instructions, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing cold rolled colour coated Galvalume steel profile sheets for roofing and cladding using sheet of 0.47mm base thickness 550Mpa yield stress (ASTM A792m) with coating class AZM 150 (minimum 150 gram/Sq.m total mass zinc aluminium coating of both sides as per relevant standards) of make JSW / Bhushan / TATA to suit a purlins spacing of 1.5 mts c/c including the cost of providing ridge gutter edge profiles, cost of making crimps for curved surface, fixing over purlins, making etc., all complete as per drawings and specifications. Note: 1) The sample of Galvalume steel sheet shall be got approved by the Engineer-in- charge before making bulk order. 2) The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling/self tapping screws of size (5.5 mm X 55mm) with EPDM seal or with polymer coated J or L hooks, Bolts and nuts 8mm dia with Bitumen and G.I limpet washers or with G.I limpet washer filled with white lead complete up to any pitch in Horizontal / vertical or curved surfaces excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.

Painting all internal faces of walls / plastered surfaces with two coats of Acrylic Emulsion paint of make Asian (Tractor) / Berger (Bison) or other approved equivalent make of approved shade over a coat of interior wall primer of make Asian (Professional) / Berger (BP Primer) or other approved equivalent make including preparation of surfaces, applying approved make wall care putty as per manufacturer specification, sanding the surface, making surface smooth without porous, applying the primer coat, scaffolding, etc., all complete at all lifts as per specifications.

Providing Painting over all exposed surfaces at all heights over rough cast plaster/plain plaster with Two Coats of premium exterior emulsion paint of make Asian (APEX - Dust proof exterior emulsion) / Berger (Anti dustt weather coat) or other approved equivalent make of approved shade over a coat of exterior wall primer of make Asian / Berger or other approved equivalent make including preparation of surfaces, curing, scaffolding etc., all complete as per specifications.

Painting over Plain Plaster at all lifts.

Providing and fixing of Name / Signage board made up of Acrylic sheet of following sizes with suitable acrylic frame work including printing letters of approved font / pattern / colour on both sides, finishing, providing lighting fixtures inside the board of approved make, fixing / hanging the board from ceiling and wall sides by using suitable SS chains / screws, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, laying and jointing of 50mm dia. Rigid PVC pipe and specials of approved make with ISI mark as per IS 4985:2000 unloading at work site, laying and fixing the pipes and specials with necessary solvent cement of approved make, testing to required working pressure etc., all complete excluding earthwork excavation which will be paid separately under relevant item as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of Granular sub-base (Grading-I) by providing close grade Material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 of MORT&H specifications for road and bridge works( 5th Revision) and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge.

Operation and maintenance of Shredder Machine with technically qualified personal including checking the shaft, motor, electrical panel, Gear Box, Conveyor belt, checking the all bolt and nuts, greasing with lubrication grease etc., all complete as per manufacturer's specification and as directed by Engineer - In - charge. Note:- 1) One operation means carrying out one or more activities for a net working time of 8 hours. 2) Contractor shall engage technically qualified personal with minimum grade as ITI (Fitter/Mechanic/Plumber).

Maintaining the dry leaves processing yard with unskilled manpower (minimum 5 labours) for carrying out day to day works such as feeding the dry leaves into shredding / briquetting machine, collecting the shredded leaves / briquettes, stacking the final product, storing in storage pits, maintaining the yard including brooming, cleaning, housekeeping etc., all completed in all respects and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- 1) One operation means carrying out one or more activities for a net working time of 8 hours. 2) Contractor shall engage minimum 5 unskilled labours for this work.

Levelling the garbage and dumping yard or as and when required by using mechanical means like JCB including clearing and levelling the chamber area, loading & unloading of excess soil in Vehicles for Conveying if required, etc., including cost of fuel, operator, etc., all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling RR Masonry in cement mortar at all lifts including stacking of RR stone, clearing and depositing the debris within a distance of 100 metres all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
