Maintenance of BVFCL railway siding for a period of 1 year

Contractor's profit for Maintenance of BVFC railway siding as per railways standard for easy & safe movement of Loco and loaded wagons through track. Job includes proper packing of ballast along the track as well as making up deficiencies by raising / lowering down rail lines suitably wherever required, fastening of tracks, cess repair, repairing of rail tracks on bridges, pulling back the line as per requirement for keeping the alignment of track in order, replacement of fittings like bolts and nuts, MS cotter, two way clips, ERC clip, tie bars, CST pots, fish plates and bolts or any other fittings as per instructions, repairing of points and crossings including oiling, greasing and replacement of fittings / ascessories as per requirement. and keeping the track clean from any wild grouth / vegetation including space by the sides of tracks up to one metre on both sides for easy movement of person for shunting / sealing of wagons. The entire work has to be carried out whenever / wherever required as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge. Cost of all the required fittings shall be paid separately, however includes carriage of fittings anywhere in the siding.

Thorough packing of BG track with items of operations as per Railway standard with packing and boxing complete. Thorough packing shall consist of the following operations in sequence, not more of the track on any one day being opened out than can be efficiently repacked before closing the work: - A) Opening of the road. B) Examination of rails, sleepers and fastenings. C) Squaring of sleepers. D) Slewing of track to correct alignment. E) Gauging. F) Packing of sleepers. G) Repacking of joint sleepers. H) Boxing of ballast section and tidying.

Replacement of damaged/worned out rails in the track by cutting, making holes as per requirment, spiking, fitting the fish plate, nuts and bolts, clips including all other fittings which shall be required for carrying the job. Rails and other fittings shall be provided by BVFCL

Laying/Replacement of BG mono block concrete sleepers including fitting viz ERC clips, Liner, Rubber pad, insert complete set and metal liner as per railway specifications. Material Shall be suplied by BVFCL

Earthwork in excavation by mechanical/manual means in all kinds of soil in foundation trenches drains including dressing of all sides, raming of bottoms including disposal of earth upto 50 m lead and lift upto 1.50 m disposal of earth to as directed by EIC

Mechanical (trolly or other means) carriage of stone ballast including spreading the same along the railway track any where in BVFCL railway siding leading up to 1.00 KM and lift up to 1.50 m as directed by EIC

Mechanical carriage of stone ballast to the designated places anywhrer in BVFCL railway siding to a distance of 5.00 KM as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Clearing grass and removal of the rubbish upto a distance of 50 m lead outside the periphery of area cleared.

Filling available excavated earth in trenches, plinths, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering lead upto 50M and lift upto 1.50M in all kinds of soils.

Supplying and stacking stone aggregates of size from 63 mm to 50 mm nominal size at working sites
