Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m in depth in any type of soil for repairing/ replacement of CI & GI pipes including getting out excavated earth complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches incl spreading and leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated soil to a distance n.exc. 50 mtr and depositing the same where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed

Taking out cast iron water mains 150 mm dia carefully (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead for relaying or depositing in MES store complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in - Charge. Note- Excavation and earth work shall measured and paid saperately under relative items.

Supply, laying & testing in repair ductile Iron S/S pipe 150 mm dia bore shall confirm to IS-8329-2000 and 9523-2000. The pipe shall be laid in trenches ,jointed and tested all as per IS 12288-1987 with specials Class “K-9” . The fittings shall withstand hydrostatic pressure without showing any leakage,sweating or defects of any kind as laid down in IS complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (Note : 1. Cutting, drilling, welding are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 2. Necessary Premissions for road cutting in civil areas will be taken from Competatnt Authorities by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.)

Material & labour for PCC (Nominal mix) using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates of ratio 1:3:6 as in benching including weathering slightly rouned or chamfered angles and finishing exposed surfaces even and smooth including use of necessary frame work complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for painting after scraping of old dull paints from the surface by scretching by wire brushes of steel surface over width or girth such as CI pipe lines of over head tanks of 15m staging including rising mains, gravity, mains overflow pipe, wash out pipe & Header,by applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint as per colour code decided by Engineer-in Charge and arrow marking & writing by using of all suitable scaffolding, mestles, ladders, cradles complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Required necessary safety measures during the work will be taken by contractor. if any case of mishappening due to negligency, contractor is wholly responsible for the same. Taking down existing unsv service cable & Supply and laying cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded galvanized steel strip or wire armored , electric power cables ( Heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminum conductor of 6 Sqmm 2 Core complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repairing of pipe line of size 150 mm dia, in position fixed at overhead tank (appx 50'to 60' height) by using of all suitable scaffolding, mestles, ladders, cradles, chain pulley for holdiing the pipe etc incl necessary repair work such as welding,cutting ,replacing of pipe etc as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
