PROVISION OF ROAD SIDE FURNITURE AT NEW OTM, OLD OTM (KUTHAR) COMPLEX AT DIGLIPUR

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exceeding 0.5 Cu.m, getting out in hard/ dense soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and making good surface.

M&L for PCC Type C2, 1:3:6 (using 40mm graded granite stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete.

S&F Rolled mild steel section of any type to hold the guard and erecting as post with cement concrete in excavated post hole and fixing railing fitting with riveted bolted or welding attachments etc conforming to Fe-410- W(Gde-E-250) quality-B complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Excavation and cement concrete shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F erecting a W metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail 70 cm above road/ ground level fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post 150x75x5 mm spaced 2 mtr centre to centre, 1.80 mtr high, 1.1 mtr below ground/ road level all steel parts and fitments to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150x75x5 mm and 330 mm long complete including excavation and PCC filling in foundation and painting to steel surfaces etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Excavation and cement concrete shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L hollow structural steel section (pipe square/ rectangular using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS-4923), Yst 240 grade, with ends of pipe shouldered and/ or riveted, or forged in to spikes, frame display/ sign board frame and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 50 mm bore (medium grade) galvanised steel tubing fixed as in vertical posts for sign boards including necessary fabrication, proper closing at ends of tubes complete all as directed.

M&L for MS square tube of size 25x25 mm, 16 SWG as in frame work for sign boards including necessary fabrication, proper closing at ends of tubes and applying two coats metallic painting over a coat of metallic primer all as directed.

S&F 1.25 mm thick MS plain black mild steel sheeting on frame work with and including necessary stainless steel bolts and nuts complete. Note: GI tubing, MS frame work shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F retroreflective sign 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face fully covered with high intensity prismatic grade class B sheeting as per ASTM D 4956-09 Type-III and IV as approved by GE with letters (black, Roman, Italic or Indian) including necessary stops, commas, short lines, dashes, brackets, etc (Number of alphabets not exceeding 30 Nos) index hands, (Natural size), or arrows (upto 400 mm long) one number, borders etc as per IRC-67 in silver white with blue/ green or any other colour pack ground and with intensity grade, pasted on substrate by applying pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II ASTM D 4956-09 and fixing the same to the structural frame work complete all as specified and directed. S&F reflective road side delineator of size 700x100x50 mm ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 100 mm dia high reflective reflectors mounted on 50 mm bore powder coated MS pipe with anti rust anti theft wire mesh duly embedded in PCC 1:3:6, type C2 pedestal of size 300x300x300 mm all as directed. S&F two-way road stud of polycarbonate body, reflective panel amber/ red/ white of size 100x100x25 mm, high compressive strength, tough, impact-resistant body, abrasion-resistant lenses ensure long lasting performance and durability, fixed with screws or installed using epoxy adhesive as per manufacturer's instructions and including earth work and PCC if required all as specified and directed. S&F 32 inches (80 cm) dia polycarbonate convex mirror fibre moulded water proof and weather proof with pole mounted bracket all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make: 3M / Mr Illumination

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of aluminium red oxide primer complete all as specified.

M&L for marking 2.0 mm thick 100 mm width centre line, stop line, dashes, arrows, brackets and similar work on road surfaces as per IRC pattern with thermo plastic paint of approved quality and make with 8% glass beads laid at temperature 160 Degree Celsius with a special applicator machine complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and traffic diversion arrangement.
