Maitaining of water Supply by Deployment of staff for Operation, Watch & Ward at A-Block (C2B), Janakpuri (HT) BPS in AC-30.

Comprehensive operation, watch & ward, and routine maintenance of A-Block (C2B) Janakpuri Clear-Water Booster Pumping Station (HT) to ensure continuous and efficient water supply as per the approved schedule, under the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The work includes operation of 7 pump sets (160 KW each), HT/LT electrical control panels, valves, SCADA system, dewatering pumps, and all allied electrical and mechanical equipment. Staff shall be deployed in all shifts to maintain uninterrupted operations during designated water supply hours. The assigned tasks under this job include the following: • Supervision and routine operation of motors, pump sets, and associated electrical & mechanical systems. • Minor electrical works and upkeep maintenance of installed infrastructure. • Replacement of asbestos graphite packing in pumps/valves, servicing and adjustment of valves. • Replacement/maintenance of Kit-Kats, tube lights, bulbs, switches, sockets, and fuse links. • Periodic tightening of panel connections, cleaning of carbon deposits from panels and motor terminals. • Correction of phase sequence if required and attending exposed wiring/components. • maintaining of operational log books and recording daily activities and abnormalities. • Cleaning and housekeeping of pump house premises to maintain safe and hygienic conditions. NOTE: All spares and consumables required for minor maintenance shall be provided by the department. Work is to be carried out as per standard practice and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.1. Shift-Incharge / Electrician (skilled): 4 Nos. (One in each Shift for operation & one in day shift) 2. Beldar (Un-skilled): 6 Nos. (For shifts)3. Beldar/Helper (Un-skilled) for maintenance day time): 2 Nos. Total Staff to be deployed : 12 Nos.Period: 90 Days x 3 Shift= 270 Shifts
