Demolition of cement concrete in ground floors and pavings not exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) and complete removal of dismantled material to outside Defence land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10mm thick layers of sand filling cover concrete as in sub-base including watering complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 400 micron polythene film HDPE shee (Virgin Quality) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390 gm/Sqm over sand cushion as specified in the design with suitable overlap between adjacent strips and a transverse joints as minimum 300 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for design mix quality cement concrete work using crushed stone aggregate in floor/hardstanding having minimum flexural stregth 40Kg/per square centimeter in field using not less 400 kg of cement/Cum of concrete complete all as specified and directed. (Note: (i) Cement shall be provided all as per design mix but not less than 400kg/Cum. (ii) In the event of increase in cement content as per design mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible to the contractor on this account & quoted rates are deemed to be includes in the unit rate. (iii) Concrete to be procured from RMC-M35 design mix. (b) Polyester triangular fibre shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of Sch'A' given here-in after.

Supply only Polyester triangular fibre 6/12 mm long @ 0.25% by weight of cement with circum circle diameter 30-35 micron designed for melting point of 240-260 degree celsius and having specific gravity of 1.34 to 1.4 Recron 3s (Make- M/s Reliance Ltd Mumbai or equivalent make as approved by GE in writting.

M&L for Forming 12mm thick expansion joint filled with bituminous filler, provn of backup rod of 10mm dia suitable to be inserted in the joint tightly, edequate masking tape on either sides of joint to avoid spillage on concrete surface before applying joint sealant and removing the same after sealing of joints and supplying and filling of sealing compound properly for a depth of 15mm as specified after application of suitable primer as directed. ( The finished level of sealed joint shall be on an average 3mm below the top surface of slabs.) NOTE : Sealing compound shall be Bostik "Seal N flex-1", single component class 'A' Bostik Polyurethane sealent conforming to BS-5212 or equivalent product of M/S Choksey Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. or M/S STP Ltd.

M&L for forming construction (dummy) joints of size 65mm deep and 10mm wide filled provn of backup rod of 10mm dia suitable to be inserted in the joint tightly, sdequate masking tape on either sides of joint to avoid spillage on concrete surface before applying joint sealant and removing the same after sealing of joints and supplying and filling of sealing compound properly for a depth of 15mm as specified after application of suitable primer as directed. ( The finished level of sealed joint shall be on an average 3mm below the top surface of slabs.) M&L for finishing of concrete floor with power trowel cum floater machine (mechanical means) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for cleaning of PQC floor shall be cleaned off all dust, surface to make it free from dirt, dust, loose particles, efflorescence, laitance curing compound and other contaminants by using wire brush , grinding all sharp edges to make it flush with the surface etc complete all as specified and directed.

APPLICATION OF POLYURETHANE FLOORIING (5 MM THICK) in the steps given as under:- STEP-I:- SCRATCH COAT @ 1MM THIC: M&L for mixing and proof coat aloring layer by using steel toweis to spread the material to seal the concrete surface and filling the surface irregularities including pock marks, non-moving control joints and cracks. Mixture shall be laid to the desired thickness and allowed to dry before application of the body coat. STEP-II:- BODY COAT @ 4 MM THICK: M&L pouring the mixed compeuned onto the substrate and working with a toothed trowel or pin screed to achieve required thickness and a flat surface. Carefully spread newly placed materials across the transition of previously applied mixes before the surface begins to set . Air should be removed with a spike roller immediately (less than two minutes after placing). Roller spikes must be at least three times longer than the product thckness applied preferably. Mixture shall be laid to the desired thickness and allowed to dry before light traffic. STEP-III:- HIGH ABRASION & UV RESISTANCE POLYURETHANE TOP COAT: M&L for pouring the mixture flooring compound onto the application area, and spreading it uniformly with smooth trowel. In order to get better appearance, texture and uniform glossy, the wet film thickness must be controlled in approx. 0.08mm . Then immediately, back rolling the material using short pile roller. The roller should be wet in the roller tray or bucket wet and the excess coating must be removed to avoid drips. Complete all as specified and directed.
