Material and labour for Cleaning of existing sewage system/pipe line of any dia(100/150/200mm etc.)(length of pipe line manhole to manhole not exceeding 20 mtr) including cleaning of manholes (any type rectangular/square/circular) located in different situations/sites, taking off the manhole cover (CI or RCC) and placing in the same original position after getting out liquid/sludge/solid contents from the manholes/sewage line and complete perfect function/running/flowing condition without any obstruction by removing all blockage in system with manual labour (rodding manually) or by mechanically sewage suction pump (at contractor;s discretion as required at site) making it fully functional to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including removing of all wastes, solid or liquid sludge through closed container and depositing the sludge in a pit (at empty/open area) of suitable size at any distance upto 200 metres from the line/colony area where directed and covering the same with the soil obtained from excavation of pit after treating the sludge by spreading the bleaching powder as directed to reduce the foul gases including all excavations and earthwork complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (a) If required getting a honey sucker and cleaning the heavily congested sewage line. (b) JCB and other machinery required on special basis would be called on requirement basis. (c) The period of rectifying each complaints is maximum 24 hrs or as decided by Engr-in-charge as per nature of complaint and Rs 100 / each complaint will be charged in case of failure to rectify the complaint in the stipulated period. (d) The payment shall be done by complaint wise. (e) The contractor shall provide adequate labours and tools to rectify the complaints. (f) Sufficient number of safaiwala shall be provided for rectifying the complaints recieved under item no. 32 & 33 irrespective of other works under this schedule. (g) The sludge obtained during rectifying the complaints shall be deposited beyond the periphery of defence land.
Cleaning and desilting of Manholes of any size and any depth by pumping out/removing liquid waste/sewage and plugging the ends of sewer pipes or diverting the flow into drains if necessary, removing silt, sludge etc, sprinking bleaching powder on the silt to avoid bad smell including all precautionary and safety measures, such as safety belts, lighting arrangements face mask etc and removing the same(silt,sludge &other waste material) in leak proof trucks covered with tarpoline all as per existing rules and regulations of civil authorities and cleaning the manholes with freah water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge . Note :- (a) If required getting a honey sucker and cleaning the heavily congested sewage line. (b) JCB and other machinery required on special basis would be called on requirement basis.

Note : (i) The night soil and sediments including liquid removed from septic tank/chamber/sewage lines will be taken away from the respective vicinities on covered conveyance and disposed off outside defence area
