REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT TO ELECTRIC GEYSER AND SOLAR WATER HEATER OF AGE E/M-V UNDER GE (N) BATHINDA AT BATHINDA MIL STN

Taking down, servicing, refixing, and testing of storage type water heaters (Geysers) of 25, 35, and 50 litres capacity by carefully disconnecting the existing water supply and electrical connections, unscrewing/cutting holding bolts, nuts, or fasteners from the wall, removing the geyser, opening the tank for inspection and repair, and refixing the same after servicing. The work shall include inspection, rectification of defects, reinstallation, and testing of the repaired geyser (of any make, type, and capacity) for proper functioning. The scope shall include attending to defects such as air lock, water leakage at pipeline joints, replacement of GI nipples wherever required, replacement of minor electrical components such as indication lamps and fuse plugs (if found defective), checking and tightening of loose electrical connections inside and outside the geyser, and making good the installation complete in all respects, as specified and directed. Notes: (a) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include the cost of minor consumables and accessories such as GI nipples, fuse plugs, indication lamps, and steel fasteners of 10 mm diameter × 100 mm length, wherever required. (b) Major components such as heating element, thermostat, complete assembly, PVC connection pipes, and any other items not specifically included in this item shall be measured and paid for separately under the relevant BOQ items.

Supply only inner assembly suitable for storage type water heater (Geyser) of 25/35/50 litres capacity, complete with all standard components as required for satisfactory operation, conforming to relevant IS specifications, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only heating element, 2 kW, 230 Volts AC, ISI marked, original and suitable for existing storage type water heater (Geyser) of any make/type or glass lined geyser, complete with rubber gasket, including replacement of rusted bolts, nuts/screws and other minor consumables, if required during replacement of the heating element, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only automatic cut-out (Auto-cut) with adjustable temperature control thermostat complete with relay, ISI marked, original and suitable for existing storage type water heater (Geyser) of any make/ type or glass lined geyser, horizontal or vertical type, 25/35/50 litres capacity, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix metal enclosure single pole and neutral plug socket with 2-pin and earth plug, complete with 1 No. SP MCB, 25 Amps, 'C' curve, including all necessary internal wiring, fixing accessories and connections, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs PVC insulated and PVC sheathed, 3-core, copper conductor, flexible round cable of size 2.5 sqmm, conforming to relevant IS specifications, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs chromium plated concealed stop cock, short body, cast copper alloy, screwed-down, high pressure, with crutch handle, suitable for 15 mm bore pipe, screwed externally at both ends for unions, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs chromium plated fancy long body bib tap, cast copper alloy, screwed, suitable for 15 mm bore GI pipe or brass ferrule, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs pre-painted inspection plate, round type, made in two pieces from 22 SWG MS sheet, suitable for storage type water heater (Geyser) of 25/35/50 litres capacity of any make, including provision for fixing indicating lamp of any type, complete with fixing screws and accessories, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement 15/16 Amp metal clad plug top suitable for geyser installation, matching existing arrangement, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
