M&L for preparation of old painted concrete / bituminous surface and painting lines, dashes,arrows, letters etc on runways,roads, pavements and the like exc. 10 cm wide with road marking paint white ,golden yellow or any other colour as required and the painted surfaces shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing signs of brush marks or surface underneath, if necessary the surfcae shall be repainted until the desirede result is obtained with machine complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per serial item No 1 above but not exc. 10 cm wide complete all as specified.

M&L for removing old paints on concrete / bituminous surfaces etc by paint remover or burning off by blow lamps and cleaning with scrapers, any width or girth and, preparation of surfaces exc. 10 cm width or girth and applying with road marking paint with machine white ,golden yellow or any other colour as required and the painted surfaces shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing signs of brush marks or surface underneath, if necessary the surface shall be repainted until the desired result is obtained etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old decorated bitumen/concrete surfaces etc and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old decorated wall surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint in different tints in chequerred pattern etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint in different tints in chequerred pattern etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair location Engineering plastic signage boards / link boardes, of size 786 mm x 600 mm, both side, with writings / signs / arrows with retro - reflective sheetings of approved type and colour, made of hard plastic or perplex sheet 4 to 5mm thiick of approved colour and type, duly framed in with aluminium strip of suitable sizes as required, mounted up on adequate number of legs of minimum height of 3'6" made out of specialised frangible material, weather proof, suitable to withstand extreme cold, extreme heat and high velocity wind pressure etc complete all as specified and as directed of the following sizes : Notes : (a) Quoted rate shall be inclusive of the following :- (i) Excavations for post holes (of min size 400 x 400 x 600 mm) in any type of soil as required filling in and removal of excess soil. (ii) Duly embedding legs of boards into PCC1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates upto GL. (b) Writings / alphabets / letters / dashes / arrows, etc shall be of different sizes, types, etc as per requirement of AF Authorities

M&L for grass cutting any number of times at particular location (Vegetation clearance) on shoulders near by runway, taxi track etc mechanically by fuel operated grass cutting machines, shrubs cutting machines etc as directed in such a way that grass should be maintained exceeding 10cm but not exceeding 15cm in height from ground and including removing the same outside MD land etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The daily strength of manpower to be deployed by the contractor shall be as per users instructions and no lapses is acceptable. (ii) Measurement paid for grass cuttings shall be of portions covered by grass, vegetations only.

Cleaning of storm water drains along side runways, taxi links and shoulders of any width and depth by surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil with and including cutting and cleaning away all grass, vegetation, saplings, shrubs, bush wood under growth roots etc at the bottom and sides of drain and removal of all to a distance not exceeding 500m from the outside periphery of the area under clearance etc using mechanical equipment like JCB, tippers or any other means etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of making temporary approaches for JCB in deeper drains including cleaning off the same from site on completion of work. (ii) Measurements to be accounted and paid shall be drain length along the centre and average bottom width of drain.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar for monsoon drain walls in portions as directed including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for except material Squared rubble walling, Jodhpur type regular coursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar (1:6) complete as specified and directed.

M&L for Keyed pointing in cement and mortar (1:4) to square rubble masonry coursed or brought upto courses etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Providing cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping of masonry wall including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, necessary formwork as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for SGA ploughing any number of times at perticular location near by PTT etcby mechanical means using tractor and cultivator having nine or more cultivator shovel all as per directed by Engineer -in-Charge
