Servicing of 250 kVA DG set (Kirloskar make) at Baithkol pump house by opening rocker cover, adjusting rocker arm tappet gap, removing and cleaning inlet and outlet valves, replacing tappet cover gaskets, checking and adjusting fuel injection timing, removing diesel feed pipes, thoroughly cleaning and pressure testing, removing engine oil sump, cleaning and replacing engine oil, oil filters, fuel filters, replacing inlet manifold gasket, draining diesel from storage tank completely, cleaning and drying tank, cleaning outlet and overflow pipes from tank to engine and carrying out all connected works, including replacement of required spare parts, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Servicing of DG set shall be carried out only through authorised Kirloskar service engineer. (ii) Spare parts required will be measured and paid separately. (iii) Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include labour for removing and refixing spare parts.

Servicing of 72 HP diesel engine pump set (Kirloskar make) at RDS Binaga pump house by opening rocker cover, adjusting rocker arm tappet gap, removing and cleaning inlet and outlet valves, replacing tappet cover gaskets, checking and adjusting fuel injection timing, removing diesel feed pipes, thoroughly cleaning and pressure testing, removing engine oil sump, cleaning and replacing engine oil, oil filters, fuel filters, replacing inlet manifold gasket, draining diesel from storage tank completely, cleaning and drying tank, cleaning outlet and overflow pipes from tank to engine and carrying out all connected works, including replacement of required spare parts, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Servicing shall be carried out only through authorised Kirloskar service engineer. (ii) Spare parts required will be measured and paid separately. Taking out ACB of 'Spectronic make' of capacity 800–2500 A, 3-pole, 415 V, 125 kA, indoor type from its sub-cubicle and carrying out routine maintenance as per manufacturer’s maintenance manual, including examination of moving and isolating contacts for discolouration, checking cluster contacts, removing arc chutes, inspecting SMC mouldings, checking main contacts (silver tips), springs and operating mechanism, cleaning all contacts with suitable solvent, re-greasing with HP multipurpose grease, checking and readjusting all settings, testing tripping devices (manual trip, under-voltage, shunt trip, over-current and earth-fault), checking IR value with 1.1 kV LT megger, calibrating ground-fault / short-circuit / overload relays for tripping and time setting and furnishing test report, complete all as specified and directed.

Notes: (a) Scope of work includes the following: (i) Inspection and cleaning of mechanism housing. (ii) Checking operation of door interlock, interlocking plate and shutter operation inside panel. (iii) Checking mechanical ON-OFF function, electrical and mechanical operation and damaged parts of VCB/ACB. (iv) Re-greasing and oiling breaker mechanism, adjusting mechanism settings as required, checking contact tightness, contact erosion pins and manual vacuum check of VCB/ACB. (v) Racking-in / racking-out operation in test and service positions of VCB/ACB trolley. (vi) Megger test (IR value 1 kV / 2.5 kV) between phases and to earth. (vii) Contact-resistance measurement (CRM test) of vacuum interrupter R, Y, B in ON condition outside panel. (viii) Pole timing test by test kit (in milliseconds). (ix) Checking operation of closing coil, trip coil, spring charging motor, auxiliary contacts, limit switches etc. (x) Checking and lubrication of all interlocks. (xi) Submission of test report in standard format for vacuum circuit breaker/ACB. (xii) Tools and testing instruments required for servicing VCB/ACB shall be arranged by the contractor. (xiii) Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include cost of grease, lubricants and cleaning materials. (xiv) After servicing, report shall be furnished to Engineer-in-Charge in standard format approved by him.

Opening LT panel board cubicle type located at various places as listed below, cleaning bus-duct chamber, inspecting complete panel, tightening all incoming and outgoing ACBs/MCCBs/SFUs of various capacities, nuts, bolts, bus-bar insulators and replacing defective items where required, heating panel to remove moisture, recording IR value with 1.1 kV megger, replacing 3 mm thick rubber gasket to make panel dust- and moisture-proof, closing all openings and re-commissioning after prior intimation to Engineer-in-Charge, complete all as directed, for the following panels: Note: Rates quoted shall be deemed to include cost of sundry items such as cleaning materials, anti-moisture spray, nuts and bolts, etc.

Supplying and laying synthetic rubber insulated mat 2.5 mm thick, size 2 m x 1 m, suitable for working voltage up to 11 kV for electrical purpose as per IS 15652:2006 (superseding IS 5424), for electrical shock protection, complete all as directed.

M&L for painting old steel surfaces of LT panel (any size up to 1600 A) with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade by spray gun, including cleaning, removing dust and dirt, scraping off loose/unserviceable paint, and writing legends in block letters for all incomers and outgoings, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs 50 mm dia flexible PVC pipe suitable for submersible pump motor, including clamps, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs sensor suitable for 75 HP motor, 3-phase 415 V, including all accessories matching existing make and catalogue number, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs sensor suitable for 60 HP vertical-type motor, 3-phase 415 V, including all accessories matching existing make and catalogue number, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs sensor suitable for 30 HP jockey motor, 3-phase 415 V, including all accessories matching existing make and catalogue number, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of underground sump / GLR / HTR by cleaning floors, walls and ceiling surfaces using mechanical high-pressure spray and steel-wire brush to remove algae/dirt, sucking out dirty water with high-pressure wet vacuum pump, removing sludge/spoil outside MoD land to a distance exceeding 2 km but not exceeding 3 km, and spraying approved disinfectant chemical, for following capacities, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rate shall be deemed to include pumping out remaining water below foot valve.
