Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 metres wide and not exc 1.5 metres deep for pipe line, foundation of poles, stays taking out and laying of cables etc in any type of soil, getting out and levelling of bottom surface to required level complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

All as per above Item No- 1 here in before but exceeding 1.5m depth and not exceeding 3.0m depth or part thereof complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soils to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Sand cushioning to underground cables using new dry river sand laid in trenches 8cm thick below the cable and 15cm thick above the cable after laying and stretching the cable complete, punned to 18cm, complete all as specified and directed Note : Punned thickness of 18cms shall be measured for payment.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, type 1 with peak, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed

Cement concrete type D-2 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Cement concrete type C-1 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping of poles, complete all as specified and directed.

Brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in in cement mortar 1:6, complete including demolition of old unserviceable brickwork all as specified and directed.

Rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in any description and in any position not otherwise specially provided for complete all as specified .

Dismantling concrete poles/ struts, any size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Steel Tubular swaged poles type 410 SP-55 (11.0 mtr long) conforming to IS : 2713 Part-I to III 1980, complete with 6 mm thick mild steel base plate, finial taper plug, MS bolts, nuts, screws including painting upto 1.5metre above PCC coping in black and white strips 05 Nos of 30cms each starting from the bottom of the pole and two coats epoxy based paint aluminium grade finish to the remaining external surface over one coat of primer and writing Pole No complete all as specified and as directed.

Steel Tubular swaged poles type 410 SP-31 (9.0 mtr long) conforming to IS : 2713 Part-I to III 1980, complete with 6 mm thick mild steel base plate, finial taper plug, MS bolts, nuts, screws including painting upto 1.5metre above PCC coping in black and white strips 05 Nos of 30cms each starting from the bottom of the pole and two coats epoxy based paint aluminium grade finish to the remaining external surface over one coat of primer and writing Pole No complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling insulators any type, any size complete all as specified and directed.

Cross arm bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and also inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer including dismantling / taking down old unserviceable structural steel all as specified and as directed.

Note: (Excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid separately.

Cutting wild grass, bushes, creepers, unwanted vegetations, etc. from surrounding poles / stays including cleaning creeper climbed on Poles as and when directed and removing the spoil and depositing where directed (size of cutting 90cm x 90cm around Pole / Stay) to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The Item shall be operated maximum three times in the entire period of the contract.

Trimming of tree branches to clear the HT/LT OH lines girth/dia of tree branches exc 25 mm and not exc 50 mm and stacking the materials where directed to a distance not exc 50 mtr and clearing the site upto entire satisfaction of Engnr-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed .

All as per Item No-30 here-in-before ,but girth/dia of tree branches exc. 51mm and not exc.100 mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Notes for Srl Item No.31 & 32 : 1. Any ACSR conductor damaged during the cuttings of trees / branches shall be repaired and jointed / fixed by the contractor, to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge, without any extra cost and nothing extra shall be admissible from the department on this account what-so-ever. 2. The cutting / trimming of tree branches shall be done to at least 3.00 metre radius of OH line. 3. The unit of measurement is 'SPAN' i.e. distance covered between two adjacent poles.

Servicing of Step Up / Down Transformer 63 KVA to 350 KVA after dismantling HT / LT side cable terminals, earthing connections, opening top cover, taking out transformer oil, transformer core carefully, cleaning the sludge and carbon particle from main tank and conservator tank, taking out burnt HT / LT bush rods and HT / LT bushing and re-assembling, refilling the transformer oil, making electrical / earthing connections using suitable size of Aluminium / Copper lugs after repair / replacement of burnt / unserviceable parts including testing and recommissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note : The major parts required for the repair will be measured and paid separately under relevant items. The nuts, bolts, washers required for repairing are deemed to be including in the quoted rates.

Gasket Set 6 mm thick superior quality on top cover plate of the transformer of any capacity 63 KVA to 200 KVA all as specified and directed.

Gasket Set 6 mm thick superior quality on top cover plate of the transformer of any capacity 250 KVA to 325 KVA all as specified and directed.

LT Porcelain bushing with brass stud screwed with brass nuts, bolts and cork washer for transformer of capacity 100 KVA to 200 KVA, 415 volts Three Phase 4 wire system all as specified and as directed.

LT Porcelain bushing with brass stud screwed with brass nuts, bolts and cork washer for transformer of capacity 250 KVA to 325 KVA, 415 volts Three Phase 4 wire system all as specified and as directed.

Supply, filling and top up with new Transformer Oil of dielectric strength more than 40 KV at 2.5mm gap confirming to IS : 335-1993 complete all as specified and as directed.

Dehydration of transformer oil by using filtration plant of suitable capacity and removing the moisture / dust till obtaining the oil dielectric strength 35 KV at 2.5mm gap and above for various transformer / voltage stabilizer of any size located at different substations, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:-New oil for taping/or for replacement shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item

Cable Route Indicator made out of 45 x 45 x 5 mm angle iron, 80 mm long embedded in PCC block of suitable size with moulded lettter HT CABLE or LT CABLE suitably incribed on CI circular plate 8 mm thick 100 dia complete incl neccessary PCC 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded aggrregate) block of suitable size and neccessary earth work and excavation all as specified and directed. Note: [Spare parts shall be measured & paid separately under relevent items.]

Shifting of Transformer / Voltage Stabilizer From Site to Work Shop and back for Repair / re-alignment with the help of crane and including disconnecting from incoming and outgoing cables for pre-inspection by lifting of assembly and repairing / replacement of worn out spare parts and testing after re-installation in the pre-existing position after repair complete all as directed.

Rewinding Of Transformer 63KVA to 200KVA and Supply and replacement of HT coil made out of super enameled copper wire of appropriate size including suitable winding material and dry the wounded coil heat in heating chamber as per prescribed temperature after heating refix in same core and test resistance of each HT coil before connecting each other complete all as specified and as directed.

Rewinding Of Transformer 250KVA to 325KVA and Supply and replacement of LT coil made out of copper strip including suitable winding material and dry the wounded coil heat in heating chamber as per prescribed temperature after heating refix in same core and test resistance of each HT coil before connecting each other complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out Servo Voltage Stabilizer of capacity exceeding 300KVA but not exceeding 400 KVA Three Phase, 4 wire, AC supply 440 V for Unbalanced / Balanced Load, Oil Cooled, from foundation after disconnecting all electrical connections etc. and dismantling for Pre-inspection by lifting of assembly and repairing / replacement of worn out parts and testing after re-installation on same foundation complete all as directed.

Taking out Servo Voltage Stabilizer of capacity exceeding 400KVA but not exceeding 200 KVA Three Phase, 4 wire, AC supply 440 V for Unbalanced / Balanced Load, Oil Cooled, from foundation after disconnecting all electrical connections etc. and dismantling for Pre-inspection by lifting of assembly and repairing / replacement of worn out parts and testing after re-installation on same foundation complete all as directed.
