PROVN OF RE-CARPETING OF ROAD ALONG WITH ROAD FURNITURE AT MAIN ROADS OF CGDHQ-10 AND CGPS, CAMPBELL BAY UNDER GE(I) CAMPBELL BAY

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces by power or hand picking to a depth exc 50mm and n.exc 100mm and area n.exc 400 Sqm in one stretch including racking over and grading the broken up surfaces to proper camber etc as required including screening, removal of serviceable/ unserviceable aggregate to a distance n.exc 50m and stacking the serviceable aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 75mm thick compacted thickness WBM, with coarse aggregate (Granite, trap or basalt) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated with 08 to 10 tonne power road roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

Description all as per Item No 2 above but except material complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Serviceable material obtained from Item No 1 shall be reused.

Repairs to pot holes any depth n.exc 1Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water and scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc., cutting around edges atleast 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5Kg/ 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 Kg/10 Sqm binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of pot holes exc 30mm, using paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags, removal of all loose dirt etc and applying evenly priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10 Kg/10 Sqm using paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed.

Description all as per Item No 5 above but on existing black top surfaces and applying evenly priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for laying bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 6% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen of VG-30 grade, laid manually/ mechanically and rolled, compacted to required camber and gradient by using power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity, compacted with and including seal coat complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for premix bituminous macadam, 75mm or less consolidated thickness by using paving bitumen VG-30 grade with binder content @ 4% by weight of total mix, laid manually, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint meterial in white/ yellow colour pattern as specified strips, 3mm thick width or girth as per manufacturer's instructions on black top surfaces of road including cleaning of road surface, free from dust, moisture and putting in glass beads of standard size by dropping method complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F for cat eye road stud ABS body confirming to IRC 67 (latest version) having load capacity of 40 tonnes giving reflection on both side, yellow in colour complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F polycarbonate convex mirror of dia 100cm with adjustable fixing bracket including vertical SS pipe not less than 100mm dia and 6mm thickness (height of SS pipe not less than 1.20m), SS plates of size 30cm x 30cm x 6mm, post holes, PCC bedding of size 45cm x 45cm x 90cm, synthetic enamel painting etc., complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Grade of SS shall be 316

S & F of retro reflective sign board made out of ACP sheet 3mm thick and pasting the high intensity prismatic taps on back ground in required colour both side writing including pasting of insignia as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F 63mm outer dia, buffed stainless steel pipe, 3mm thick (SS 316 grade) with half round cap as in posts complete as shown in sketch and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F 32mm square pipe of buffed stainless steel 1.5mm thick of grade SS 316 pipe with half round cap in back support as shown in sketch and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note for Item Nos 12 to 14 : The sketch given is only for guidelines and work shall be executed as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in post holes in hard/ dense soil (or similar holes) each n.exc 0.5cum getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers n.exc 25cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m and making good the disturbed surface all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC(1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F for solar stud of (width 122.5mm, length 132.5mm, height with stump 55mm, stump dia 26mm) electrically operated with solar cell LED battery NICD 1400 AE, frame aluminium, reflective polycarbonate frame complete all as specified and as directed. Make : TATA BP Solar/ Dark Eye/ CMS

S & F metal delineators 75mm dia x 1000mm height freely stand/ mobile type with 3 Nos of 100mm reflective films complete all as specified and as directed.
