M & L for Servicing / cleaning / Decarbonizing of LT panel boards of any size/type not exceeding 2.5 cum volume of panel, clearing vegetation up to 1.5 mtr around the panel, spraying anti vegetation growth chemical, inspecting all cable terminations, lugs, insulation, busbars,Lt switchgears, meters etc, cleaning the busbars/panel with CRC solution for removing carbon contents, replacing pitted lugs with proper crimping pressure,insulating the peeled off insulation with superior quality high grade rubber insulation tape with proper colour code, replacing pitted/damaged busbar insulators all as per existing, marking radium stickering for all outgoing/incoming feeders with location, radium stickering of danger notice board on panel as per standards, replacing pitted control wiring of metering, replacing defective CTs/ meters /glands /indicator lamps, replacement of rusted doors with hinges/locking arrangements, tightening the cable end terminals with bus bar / connector links / MCCB / MCB end terminals with proper torque for avoiding loose connections, checking for any abnormal heating in the cables / MCCBs including applying a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of rusted surfaces only and applying two coats of enamel paint of approved colour by Enginner in Charge on entire surfaces outer side and inner side after preparation of surfaces , including making good broken PCC pedestals/ foundation, applying white wash etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Note:- (i) cable lugs, reduced terminals (bottle lugs), in line connectors, glands, fabrication of doors, hinges/locks/tower bolts, meters, CTs, indicator lamps, insulators and insulation tape shall be measured and paid seperately as per site requirement under relevant items as supply only. (ii) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of M/L for removing loop of all cables for defect rectifications of end terminations,painting, radium stickering, making good of broken PCC and any other misc materials required for operational of panel. iii) Each panel board will be measured as one job only. (iv) Each servicing attended shall be measured as one job. (v) The contractor shall depute necessary man power on daily basis for rectifying the jobs including sundays and holidays in case of break downs the complaint to be attanded with in 02 hours after intimatation by concerned JE E/M or Engineer in Charge otherwise penalty of amount double the quoted rate will be recovered for non compliance.

M&L for fabrication for LT Feeder Piller Box/ Panel Boards doors made out of 2.00 / 3.15 mm thick mild steel sheet by applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer with hinges complete all as specified and directed.

M/L for attending LT breakdown complaints/defects from transformer LT terminal box upto Bldg feeder pillar box/DBs with connected switchgears, cables etc complete for making the continuity of supply after rectifying the defects of the electrical network by carrying out with the following scope of work:- (i) cable faults : disconnecting the both ends of cable and check the insulation resistance value.Physical inspection / tracing the cable in cable duct/ trenches. Cutting/disconnecting damaged portion and re-checking for insulation value, and make the cable connection after rectification at both end terminations to restore the power supply. (ii) unserviceable control switch gears / MCCBs / MCB: remove the MCCB/MCB from the panel board and clean the carbonized / burnt surfaces with varnish / CRC solution to make good and fix the new MCCB of suitable rating and connect the cable to MCCB terminals with proper lugging and by applying proper torque to avoid loose connections. spreader links shall be provided if necessary as per site requirement. (iii) Terminals/lugs failure: check for any cable terminal damage / melting by over heating, loose contacts. the damaged portion of cable shall be removed and fixing the lugs and terminate the cable by applying proper torque to avoid loose connections and proper re-distribution of over loading of cable complete all as specifed and as directed. Note :- (i) cable joint kit, MCCB/MCB, lugs and cable fault detection by fault finding machine, any excavation earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items. spreader links /insulation tape shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (iii) Each Breakdown complaint/defect attended shall be measured as one job through job card. (iv) The contractor shall depute necessary man power on daily basis for rectifying the jobs including sundays and holidays.

M&L for detecting LT UG cable faults located in any stretch/ depth with sophisticated cable fault locator consisting of microprocessor based pre-locator system, surge generator of capacity upto 1.1 KV, fault pin point surge wave reciever, cable indentification instrument , cable tracer for exact location of under ground cable routes. M&L for dismantling the cable connections of four pole/ three pole Air circuit breaker of capacity 800 to 1250 Amps ,415 V 50 HZ of L&T Make/C&S/GE/ABB make, strip opening the Air circuit breaker, inspecting the parts for serviceability/overhauling complete and carrying out the following repairs/maintenance :- a) Cleaning the insulation parts including bushings with CRC solution. b) Checking the alignment and condition of movable and stationary contacts and adjust them all as per manufacturer's instructional manual c) Check the bolts, nuts, washers, cotter pins and all terminal connections are in place and tights. Replace the worn-out parts. d) Check arc chutes for damage . e) Clean and lubricate the operating mechanism with a light machine oil for pins and bearings and with a non-hardening grease for the wearing surfaces .
