Material and labour for taking down and dismantling centrifugal pumpset/ Jet pump of following capacity for carrying out repairs including replacement of worn out parts such as impellers, bearings etc., and reconditioning of spare parts such as shaft, gland metal bushes, impeller housing body, gland plate etc., by metalling and machining to their original shape and size and assembling back into position by using new suitable gland dory, gland plate, gland /rubber packing including studs/ gland bolts and nuts, coupling bushes etc., oiling and greasing for making pumpset fully functional and testing for satisfactory running for the following capacities complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE: (i) Rate quoted deemed to include labour cost for taking down, repair and replacement of spares. (ii) The spare parts to be replaced will be measured and paid separately as supply only under relevant items of sch 'A' here-in-after.

Material and labour for dismantling submersible /open well submersible pumpset, carrying out repairs, reconditioning of spare parts such as impellers, thrust bearing with plate, shaft etc., by metalling and machining to their original shape and size, assembling back into position by using new suitable gland/ rubber packing including studs, flanges, bolts and nuts etc., oiling and greasing for making pumpset fully functional, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, testing for satisfactory running for the following capacities complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE: (i) Rate quoted deemed to include Material and labour cost for repair and replacement of spares. (ii) The labour cost for lifting and lowering complete pump will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of sch 'A' here-in-after.

Material and labour for taking down and dismantling/ opening the following capacity centrifugal/ Jet motor and taking out damaged/ burnt out winding from single phase /three phase motor, cleaning the slots with CTC and rewinding the same with new super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge and turns, reassembling, oiling and greasing, and fixing back into position for making motor fully functional and testing for satisfactory running complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for taking up /lifting submersible pumpset of upto 7.5 HP capacity from open well/ bore well using tripod chain pulley or any other suitable method, dismantling from MS /GI /HDPE pipe any size, opening pump set and carrying for repairs connecting back to pipe and lowering the submersible pumpset into open well/ bore well in original position after repairs complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for taking up/ lifting for taking out submersible pumpset of 9 to 17.5 HP capacity from open well/ bore well using tripod chain pulley or any other suitable method, dismantling from MS/ GI/ PVC pipe of any size, opening pump set and carrying for repairs connecting back to pipe and lowering the submersible pumpset into open well/ bore well in original position after repairs complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note for item No. 8 & 9: (a) Unit rate quoted deemed to include labour cost including T&P for taking up and lowering the submersible pump from bore well /open well along with delivery pipe. (b) Cost for repair work and replacement of spares will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of schedule.

Taking down existing unserviceable sluice valve of following sizes from the existing position and supply and fixing sluice valve CI body class PN 1.6 heavy duty flanged ends cast iron wheel with SS spindle conforming to IS:14786–2000, short body including replacement of corroded nuts, bolts, washers and gasket complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for opening the top of the sluice valve of the following sizes carefully and taking out the gate including spindle and checknut scrapping/ cleaning refacing, regrinding of gate of sluice valve and spindle, refixing the spindle, gate check nut and top of sluice valve including repacking stuffing box of sluice valve spindle by replacement of gland packing rope of suitable size and reassembling including replacement of rubber gasket, bolts, nuts, etc., and making the sluice valve serviceable complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Taking down the existing unserviceable hand pump from tube/ bore well by disconnecting mechanically and kept at site and lifting the connection rod along with column pipe from bore hole and segregating components for carring out repair work including replacement of unserviceable chain along with chain link and plunger with nylon washers and lowering in the bore well and refixing the pump in its position complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Rate quoted includes labour cost lifting /lowering of pipe.

Development of bore /tube well using conventional method by means of air compressor of capacity not less than 600cfm at 150 PSI and at least 4 hours minimum, for sand /mud free clean water is obtained including necessary transportation, labour and fuel etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour to carry out yield test on bore well by making free, unrestrained flow of water from a borewell continuously using pump for at least one hour over a 90 degree ‘V’ notch and measuring and reacording pumping rate accurately at uniform interval and preparing and submitting yield test result and shut down the pump at the end of the test (a minimum of 60 minutes of pumping) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: (a) Unit rate quoted deemed to include necessary labour cost including necessary T&P for yield test. (b) Test to be carried out by competent authority/ agency and result /report prepared by them to be submitted.
