Replacement of damaged polycarbonate sheet at Thyagraj Sports Complex for forthcoming commonwealth table tennis championship 2026.

Providing & fixing multilayer/ multicell X fix standing seam polycarbonate panel system of 16 mm thickness (minimum) including all standard fixing accessories upto the height of 25m . The entire panel system shall be with a width from min. 900 mm for better stability and six to seven layer. The panels should have uniform in colour with min 5 cells and 6walls Structure inside for better stability, thermal insulations and diffusion of light. Especially designed for shading throughout the day for better ambient temperature below the roof. Panels shall have minimum 5 layers with all fixing accessories to ensure best performance for wind uplift, vibration, oil canning and visual appearance and U- Value not more than 2.1 W/m2K. Panels shall be manufactured with vertical standing seam having height of 15-20mm at both sides of the panel. Panels have to be fixed on MS structure with snap on connectors with grip lock double tooth locking mechanism and will be secured on MS structure with Aluminium Cleats/ Fastener and double tooth polycarbonate PC connector for better stability and pull-out load capacity as per ASTM D6706. Panels must satisfy Dart drop impact test as per IS 14443-97 shall show no sign of breakage on Polycarbonate Panel which have been exposed to UV for a min. of 500 Hours as per ASTM G 155. Panels shall not have Yellowness Index as per ASTM E- 313 of 15 units when tested on a sample exposed to UV for 500 hours as per ASTM G 155. U value shall not be more than 2.6 W/m2K as per EN ISO 10077-2:2018. Panel shall be with additional End cap / Aluminium U/F profile / Glazing Bar (all mill finish) for ends as required. Trained and factory authorized labour with supervision to complete the entire panel installation as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Panels shall not have Yellowness Index as per ASTM E-313, Delta (DE) change should not be more then 10 when tested on a sample exposed to UV for 500 Hours as per ASTM G 155 or Equivalent test by any NABL Approved Labs. Panel shall be with additional End cap / Aluminium U/F profile / Glazing Bar (all mill finish) for ends as required etc. as required including sealing of joints by silicon aluminium required to fix existing sheet also included etc. & the work should be done by skilled & insuranced labour with taking of all saftey precautions complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (Surface area shall be measured for payment. Frame work if any shall be paid separately)

Dismantling of (old) polycarbonate sheet roofing which wornout by the wind at height upto 25 m of Thyagraj Sports Complex etc. including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable material with in 50 meters lead as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Credit (deduct) for dismantled materials take away by the contractor from the site. Old dismantle material such as aluminium profile & channel, EPDM gasket, (old) Polycarbonate sheet etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
