Upkeep and maint of water supply installations in Varanasi Cantt.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil n. exc. 1.5 mtr deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in width for taking up/down underground water tubing and/or laying of CI/GI pipes (new or old) of any dia and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr from starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil after the existing water pipe lines have been taken up/out and new existing pipe line laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of submersible pump set, electric driven, 415 V, 50 Hz, three phase, 30 HP, 22 KW, speed 2900 rpm (sync), delivery size suitable for 150mm NRV, having discharge capacity 1000 litres per minute at 75m head, suitable for lowering inside existing casing pipe of bore well (300/350 mm) including necessary jointing with MS column pipes with flanged joints, with rubber gaskets, nut, bolts and washers of required size and including electrical connection from starter panel to motor with submersible cable, complete all as specified and directed. MAKE:- KSB / Calama / Kirloskar/CRI NOTE:- (i) Column pipe with flanged joints and submersible cable will be measured and paid separately. (ii) The cost of necessary T&P shall deemed to be included in rates quoted.

Taking up or down old steel tubing / PPR PI 20 mm bore and connections from trench/floor/along wall including cleaning for refixing or removal from site (excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately) complete all as specified and directed.

Laying only, jointing and testing PIPE (PN 16/SDR7.4) - 3 Layer 20 mm bore with all new fittings, laid in trenches (old tubing obtained from item No. 06 shall be used in this item).
