8647 REPAIRS/MAINTENANCE OF LT SERVICES AND ITS CONNECTED WORKS AT PARUNDU, 7N DET AND 4N DET UNDER GE TIRUNELVELI

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth; for laying pipes and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soft/loose soil , complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour excavated soils n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for spreading of riddled earth obtained from trenches for cable cushioning on top and bottom of cable as specified.for cable protection complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Only punned thickness of riddled earth shall be measured)

Supply and lay bricks in trenches , common burnt clay building bricks, subclass `B’ designation 75, old size ,with width equal to the length of the brick; complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for horizontal direction boring under road for laying 50 mm/80 mm dia GI Pipe at a depth not less than 450 mm and not exc. 800 mm complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The rate is inclusive of all the materials, equipments and labour required for doing trenchless horizontal boring under the road, nothing extra shall be admissible on any account then the rates quoted above.

Demolition, Cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 100 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, using 20mm graded aggregate for making good the disturbed road surface after laying of pipe line over returned filled and compacted earth surface to match with existing road level complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying LT under ground cable 1100 volts grade Cross linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulated PVC Sheathed Cables: armoured multistranded heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor laid in trenches/ duct / walls including cable gland and lugs on both end termination including laying, connecting to various switches in panel board, testing and commissioning etc including taking out existing unserviceable cables of following sizes complete all as directed & as specified:- 4 Core 16 Sqmm.

All as per item no. 9.0 above but 4 Core 25 Sqmm
