Maintenance, Supervision, monitoring, repair and servicing of water supply distribution system through SCADA Software in sound condition & PLC based control panels including all components, day to day systematically examining, adjusting and repairing/replacement of any defective minor or major spares with original genuine spare parts/software of same manufacture’s and any other left out items for safe, smooth and uninterrupted functioning of water supply system comprising the following :- (a) Programmable logic control communication MIMIC panels : 8 Nos (b) Computer system : 02 Nos. (c) Software : In respective PLCs of panels & PCs. (d) BSNL Broad Band : Already installed. However payment of bills of broadband shall be recovered from due payment of contractor. (e) Magnetic float switch sensors : 55 Nos (f) Pressure switch : 06 Nos (g) Actuators alongwith motorised butterfly valves : 29 Nos (h) PC based SCADA : In 02 Nos PCs (j) UPS : 10 Nos (k) 3 Phase 120 HP induction motors : 02 Nos (l) 3 Phase 120 HP Centrifugal pumps : 02 Nos (m) GPRS based Sim Cards : 8 Nos. Already installed. However pospaid bills of these Sim Cards shall be done by contractor during the period of contract.

Notes :- Quoted rate against this item shall be deemed to include for provisions stipulated here-in-after:- (i) Servicing of these above installations of water supply system shall be done in routine. However these shall be serviced comprehensively every month by general cleaning, cleaning of contacts, checking for wear and tear, checking all electrical connections, greasing and lubricating moving parts, checking computer peripherals etc and a log sheet of these comprehensive service undertaken be prepared and kept on record duly signed by JE E/M, Engineer-in-Charge, technician engaged by contractor and contractor himself. Requirement for repair/replacement of minor or major spares shall be recorded in above log sheet and be got approved from JE E/M & Engineer-in-Charge before undertaking any repair/replacement of minor or major spares. (ii) Replacement of minor parts. (iii) Payment of major parts replaced shall be made against respective items of Sch ‘A’/BOQ as supply only. The labour components shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate of this item and nothing extra shall be admissible. (iv) In the event of any dispute arises in this regard, whether item replaced is minor or major the decision of Accepting Office in this regard shall be final & binding. (v) All components/items required to be replaced shall be genuine and original parts of same manufacture’s as exist at site. (vi) Cost of consumables like grease, lubricants, lugs, thimbles etc shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates. (vii) Onsite re-programming of PLC CPU Module, PLC Input/ Output Module, PLC power supply Module and PLC HMI Module shall be carried out on required basis as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (viii) Upgradation of SCADA software to keep the latest version of software in use for efficient functioning. (ix) Upgradation of PLC software to keep the latest version of software in use for efficient functioning. (x) It is mandatory for the contractor to operate the water supply installation through static line IP address for GPRS based communication. (xi) The maintenance/repair work shall be carried out through the OEM (M/S Cimcon) or through authorized service provider of the OEM or any other agency dealing with installation and maintenance of SCADA system having vast experience in the relevant field.

Notes (Contd....):- (xii) Contractor shall employ minimum two Nos technical operator (skilled) (one for each shift) having ITI certificate in relevant trade with minimum three year experience of working of SCADA Software & PLC base control panels for two shifts each of 8 hrs. (xiii) All the above executed work shall regularly be supervised by experts of OEM (M/S Cimcon) or through experts of authorized service provider of the OEM or through experts of any other agency dealing with installation and maintenance of SCADA system having vast experience in the relevant field. (xiv) The quantity of items in BOQ are provisional and actual quantity during execution may vary.
