Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete. Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 110% of the specified minimum cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either redesign the mix or bear the cost of extra cement. (i) All works upto plinth level (a) Concrete of M35 grade with minimum cement content of 370 kg /cum.
Providing, transporting, hoisting and fixing of precast reinforced cement concrete in Pre-cast Slab, including cost of required centering and shuttering ,mixing, transporting and placing of concrete, vibrating, curing, finishing, making necessary cutout/holes of required sizes for services, yard handling & stacking all complete as per IS 11447:1985 and as per approved shop drawings and design mix as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge (Cost of reinforcement and Plumbing inserts will be paid separately). Concrete grade M-35 (Cement content 370 kg/cum). All works upto plinth level. Note: Excess/less cement over the specified cement content used as per design mix is payable/recoverable separately.

Preparation of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, conforming to specifications mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by mechanical transport to work site, for all leads and lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with mechanical means including neatly leveling & dressing on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. With materials confirming to grade-I (Size range 75 mm to 0.075 mm).
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by mechanical transport to site, for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying dry lean cement concrete with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 26.5 mm, aggregate cement ratio not exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per specification, cement content not to be less than 150 kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 MPa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant as per mix design, transported to site, laid with a paver with electronic sensor, compacting with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) produced in a batching and mixing plant having a Characteristic flexural strength i.e. flexural strength of 4.1 MPa at 28 days using Ordinary Portland cement of 43/53 grade or Portland Pozzolana Cement or Portland Slag cement conforming as per relevant IS codes, to be mixed at site, with 0.5% Super plasticizer by mass of cementitious material, fine aggregate, graded stone aggregates of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportion as per specification and job mix formula, laid in panels as per drawings/design as approved by the Engineer-In-Charge using Slip Form Paver or Fixed form paver including anti friction layer, joint filler board, making necessary provision for expansion, dummy and construction joint including filling with Polysulphide sealant of approved make, curing and making profile, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and specifications. The item for execution shall include all operations making pavement for intended use but not limited to following: (i) Polyethylene sheet (White in color) of thickness 400 micron conforming to IS: 2508 with 6mm thick fine sand layer. (ii) Providing and laying in position for expansion joint, 25mm thick pre-cut Synthetic joint filler board of approved make conforming to IS:1838 (part 3)-2011, 45 mm from top (to be removed at the time of filling of Polysulphide sealant). (iii) Mechanically cutting dummy joints 3mm wide x 1/3rd thickness of slab which is subsequently widened to 10mm for the top 25mm depth and construction joints 10mm wide x 25mm deep as per specification. (iv) Providing and laying in position Polysulphide sealant of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 or IS: 11433-1995 in expansion/ construction/ dummy joints including rounding off edges, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of Polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant etc. as per the details below: (a) Expansion Joints of size 25 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 30mm dia expanded closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up/backer rod of minimum density 22 Kg/Cum, as per manufacturer’s specifications and sketch at Appendix-‘A’ as shown in Technical specification of this item.
(b) Construction Joints of size 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 12mm dia expanded closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up/backer rod of minimum density 22 Kg/Cum, as per manufacturer’s specifications and sketch at Appendix-‘A’as shown in Technical specification of this item.. (c) Dummy Joints of size 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 12 mm dia expanded closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up/backer rod of minimum density 22 Kg/Cum, as per manufacturer’s specifications and sketch at Appendix-‘A’as shown in Technical specification of this item. (v) Making profile as per DGCA CAR, panel drawing showing dummy, construction, expansion joints location Note: (i) Areas inaccessible to paving equipment shall be constructed by manual/hand guided method. Areas in which manual/hand guided methods of construction become indispensable shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-Charge in writing in advance. (ii) The quantity of cement, type of cement and super plasticizer for one Cum. of finished concrete specified are for tendering purpose only. The contractor shall quote his rates assuming quantity of OPC cement as 360 Kg/Cum or 400 Kg of Portland Pozzolana Cement/ Portland Slag cement. In addition, if the actual quantity of cement & super plasticizer required as per laboratory mix design varies from the quantity assumed above, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of cement and super plasticizer as per mix design, if any, shall be done as per the rate of cement and super plasticizer in actual supply voucher from manufacturer/authorized dealer at the time of execution. In the case of authorized distributor, the rate may be authenticated by the manufacturer. The rate of cement and super plasticizer exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment.
Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate nos. of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete.: New work (Two or more coats)
(i) Providing and erecting 2.40 metre high temporary barricading at site; each panel of size 2.5m x 2.4 m made of 40 x 40 x 6 mm angle iron or 50 x 50 x 3 mm hollow MS tube posts/horizontal members/bracings covered with 0.5 mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30 x 5 mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. The panels shall be made so that gap of 50cm above the ground is available making overall height as 2.9 m. MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50 cm long shall be provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes of size 50 x 25 mm at both ends with 50 cm long MS angle 40 x 40 x 6 mm bracing. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250 mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. Foundation arrangement to be made to support this barricading structure. (ii) Providing and fixing concertina coil fencing over the 2.4 m heigh temporary barricades with punched tape concertina coil 600 mm dia 10 metre openable length (total length 90 m), having 50 nos rounds per 6 metre length, upto 3 m height of wall including angle iron 'Y' shaped placed 2.50 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. reinforced barbed wire, stud tied with G.I.'staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge, with reinforced barbed tape(R.B.T.)/Spring core (2.5mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165kg/sq.mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) and weight 43.478 gm/metre(cost of M.S. angle shall be included in the item) The work shall be executed as per drawing/direction of Engineer-in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously including shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: One time payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till completion of work including shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work).
Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. in gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works
Carrying out Plate Load test to determine Modulus of Subgrade reaction (K - value) at sugrade/ subbase / base layer or at locations decided by the Engineer-In-Charge as per IS Code 9214-1979 and submission of test results as per direction of Engineer -in- Charge. The test should be carried out by the specialised agency/ firm as approved by the Engineer -In Charge.
Providing and laying Non Pressure NP-4 class (Heavy duty) R.C.C. pipes including collars/spigot jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete: 450 mm dia RCC pipes.
Supplying and filling in plinth with river sand under floors, including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete.
Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)
Providing structural design & detailing of RCC storm water drainage system & RCC Culvert through approved design consultant based on rainwater data of last 25 years and as per direction & satisfaction of Engineer in-charge. The strength of culverts must be designed for code ‘E’ type of aircraft to facilitate long term usage. The structural design & drawing to be vetted from Govt. Engineering College / NITs / IITs. The layout of the drainage system shall be got approved by Engineer in-charge before execution.
Supply of CI Boxes: Supply of cast iron isolation transformer houxing box, water tight round type, metal container of outside dia 330 mm, height 450 mm made of 10 mm thick cast iron moulding all round, except the top surface, which is 15 mm thick iron moulding suitable to receive a light fitting base palte/cover plate on the top and underground housing associated with transformer power cable andhaving required numbers of holes of appropriate diameter, as per site requirement on the periphery centre, 75 mm above bottom surface suitable toreceive HDPE/GI pipes as required. The box should have two removable ss earth bolts of M10 x 40 mm fixed near the hole (4" away from the hole centre) for connecting the earth wires/strip and having a drain hole at the bottom suitably threaded to recive 15 mm dia, 'B' class GI pipe and having clear opening of 220 mm at the top surface and 6 nos. M10 tapped having centre to centre distance of 260 mm alongwith bolts as required as per technical specification.
Installation of circular type Cl Transformer housing box of size outside dia 330 mm, height 450 mm on Apron/Taxiway shoulder at suitable depth along the Civil construction works i/c providing & fixing 250 mm long 15 mm dia 'B' class GI pipe in the bottom surface for drainage of water,threaded type hard 2 Nos PVC checknuts for incoming and outgoing 50mm outer dia. HDPE Pipe inside housing box along with checknut for receiving earthing pipe ,along with base concrete,all round concrete and suitable slope with cement concrete all of 1 :2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) adjusting height of box with existing surface to meet the ICAO requirement i/c leveling of housing box with suitable instrument,cutting & threading of HDPE pipes etc. complete as per technical specifications, terms & conditions and as directed by EIC. (wherever the transformers boxes are to be installed in a line the same has to be aligned in such a way that the centre fall in a straight line)
Supply of M.S. dummy cover plate of 10mm thickness suitable for installation on the existing transformer housing box of 300mm dia with 6 Nos holes suitable to re ceive M10 SS bolts etc complete as required
Installation of 300mm dia. MS dummy cover plate on the existing transformer housing box with providing & fixing of the 3mm thick new neoprene rubber gasket,6 Nos.M10 SS Bolts, washers etc complete as required.
Supply of 50 mm outer dia. lSI marked HDPE pipe as per 15:4984:2016, of rating PE 80, PN 10 with 4 mm nylone rope etc. complete as required.
Laying of 50mm outer dia. HDPE pipe along with 4mm nylon rope with accessories like socket, couplers, bends etc. complete with fitting, cuttings, jointing wherever applicable to connect the consecutive transformer housing boxes and transformer housing box to other fitting I location. The laying shall be in Apron/Taxiway shoulder at suitable depth along the civil construction works etc complete as required as directed by ElC.
Supply and laying of 15mm nominal bore dia B class( medium) G.l. pipe ISI marked as per IS 1239 with 6SWG dia GI wire i/c socket,connection etc. applicable to connect the transformer housing box to earthing pit other location. The laying shall be in Apron/Taxiway shoulder at suitable depth along the civil construction works etc complete as required as directed by EIC.
