MAINT OF RUNWAY IE GRASS CUTTING AND PAINTING EARTH FILING DRAIN CLEANING ETC AT AF STN BAMRAULI UNDER GE AF BAMRAULI

Supply of labour and tools & plants with a skilled driver and one semi skilled helper for cutting of grass by mechanically operated tractor (Diesel) coupled with jungle zim/ leveler/cultivator/slasher on requirement basis as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including removing of materials obtained from cutting out side the MD land. Grass cutting is to be done beyond 7.5 metre from the edge of runway, taxi track and parking area and height of grass shall not be more than 50mm after cutting all as directed. The contractor should deployed additional tractor coupled with jungle zim on requirement projected by the Garrison Engineer in writing. Note:- (i) A log book should be maintained and signed by Engineer-in-Charge, contractor and user's rep, daily for the purpose of calculating daily working hours which shall be actual mode of payment. (ii) Tractor deployed shall not be more than 3 years old from the date of manufacturing and of capacity not less than 35 HP. (iii) Actual working hours shall be calculated excluding the transit hours / time of the plant to and from the work site. (iv) If contractor failed to deploy the requisite number of tractor with jungle zim/leveler/cutivator after written order of Garrison Engineer, penalty at the rate of Rs 1000/- per hour shall be levied and same shall be deducted from the contractor's dues.

M&L for cutting down shrubs, under growth grass etc with manually and removing the same from site to a distance not exceeding 100 mtr, complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) Grass cutting by manually as directed upto 7.50 M from the edge of Runway, Taxi track and parking area. (ii) The height of grass not more than 30 cm.

M&L for cutting down shrubs, under growth grass etc with bush cutters and removing the same from site to a distance not exceeding 100 mtr, complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) Grass cutting by bush cutter as directed upto 7.50 M from the edge of Runway, Taxi track and parking area. (ii) The height of grass not more than 10 cm.

Cleaning of silt or dirt or vegetation manually from open drains accumulated through rain water & storm air and removing the mud/garbage/debris outside of MD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of silt or dirt or vegetation manually from drains (with RCC cover slab of thickness upto 400 mm and plan area or each cover slab not exceeding 1Sqm), accumulated through rain water & storm air and removing the mud/garbage/debris outside MD land including removing of existing precast cement concrete cover slabs of drain (by manually/mechanically as per site requirement) and re-fixing of precast cover of drain at same location, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness (below or above ground level), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate in foundations, filling and mass concrete including sub base of floors, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Providing precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) in cover slabs (drain cover), including necessary moulds and setting in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed. (reinforcement to be measured separately).
