Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Unit ( HSR-4.12.1)

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, cum plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m. (HSR-4.32)

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge ( HSR-5.7.3)

1 :4: 8 ( 1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-Ill) : 8 graded cum stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size (HSR-6.1.6)

Providing and laying damp-proof course with cement concrete 1 :2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-Ill): 4 graded stone aggregate 12.5mm nominal size) ( HSR-6.8.3)

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement-All work up to plinth level ( HSR-6.14.1)

Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. above plinth level up to floor four level, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement : ( HSR-6.15)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for ( HSR-6.29.1)

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work, where not included in the complete rate of RCC, including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position, binding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. complete in all respect below plinth level. Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work , excluding overlaps. Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods of binding & placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement. ( HSR-6.33.6)

Brick work with common burnt clay modular bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in ( HSR-7.20.1)

Brick work with common burnt clay machine moulded perforated bricks of class designation 12.5 confonning to IS: 2222 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor four level in cement mortar 1 :6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) (HSR-7.23.1)

12 mm cement plaster of mix (HSR-11.5.3)

15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix ( HSR-11.6.1)

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mmof approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.( HSR-11.60)

Painting the wooden I metal surface with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade ( HSR-11.82.1)

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade ( HSR-11.95.1)

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete. ( HSR-13.28)

Fencing With Welded Steel Wire Fabric 75 Suggestive mm x50mm Providing 1.20 metre high fencing with angle iron posts 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm at 3 metre centre to centre with 0.40 metre embedded in M15 grade cement concrete, comer, end and every 10th post to be strutted, provided with welded steel wire fabric of 75 mm x 50 mm mesh or 75 mm x 25 mm mesh and fixed to iron posts by flat iron 50 x 5 mm and bolts etc. complete in all respects. i) Adopt any one type of welded steel wire fabric 75 x 50 mm or 75 x 25 mm as per approved design. ii) The item of excavation and cement concrete in foundation shall be measured and paid separately (HSR 34.29.3)

Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Dismantiling of bricks and Removing of Door and windos in the DNIT. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material after approval from employer. This material will be issued at the price quoted by the agency. However the reserve price is as under:- i) Good tile @ 4.50/- Each

ii) brick bates @ 450/- cum Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this building. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
