MAINT/REPAIR TO CEILING FAN AND OTHER FANS UNDER GE NORTH BATHINDA AT BATHINDA MIL STN

Disconnecting electric connection and taking down carefully defective/unserviceable ceiling fan/exhaust fan/wall mounted fan/cabin fans/table fans etc ( of any size/make) from site as directed and deposit in AGE E/M Store yard complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) The T & P/vehicles will be arranged by the contractor and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted unit rates.

Collecting serviceable/repaired ceiling fan and exhaust fans (any size/make) from E/M store yard and hanging/fixing at site as directed including electric connection with new flexible copper cable, including supply and fixing new mild steel clamp complete with rubber reel, GI nut bolts, split pin and lock washer (all heavy duty as per sample) for hanging of ceiling fan and nut bolts/steel fastners 10mm dia 100mm long for hanging of exhaust fan and screw, PVC gutties etc as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : (i) Cost for new flexble cable (make: FINOLEX/ Polycab/HPL/Anchor/ PARAGON/ HAVELLS/Plaza), mild steel clamp, rubber reel, GI nut bolt, split pin, washer, steel fastners, screw, PVC gutties etc shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rates nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Collecting serviceable/repaired wall mounted fan / air circulator fan / cabin fans / pedestral fans / table fans etc (any size/make) from E/M store yard and hanging/fixing/deposit to users site as directed including electric connection with existing electric system including fixing material as required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for collecting unserviceable ceiling fan 1200mm sweep, single phase, any make/model from E/M store yard of GE(N) Bathinda, Dismantling the ceiling fan and taking out complete burnt winding, thoroughly cleaning the core and all other components of the fan, rewinding the motor with super enamelled Copper winding wire of suitable turn and gauge as per the original, using insulating material paper sleeves and varnish class ‘B’ for insulation, well drying, replacement of rusted /unserviceable nuts, bolts, machine screws etc including oiling/greasing and replacement of defective / unserviceable parts/spares i.e. ball bearing, gun metal bush as required, including any kind of repair work in shaft, reassembling the fan as per original and testing the fan on-load for two hours and deposting the complete repaired fan to E/M store yard of GE(N) Bathinda complete all as specified and as derected by Engineer-in-charge. Make for varnish : Dr Beck Insulating Varnish/HI-GRADE/LUREX/FINE FINISH/JYOTI Polyester Varnish/N S SHAH & Co.

All as per above Srl item No. 04 but for ceiling fan 1400mm sweep complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per above Srl item No. 04 but for exhaust fan 400/450mm sweep complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per above Srl item No. 04 but for exhaust fan 200 to 380mm sweep complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note for item No.04 to 10 above :- (i) Copper winding wire and all defective/ unserviceable parts/items like bush, bearing, condenser shall be measured and paid separetaly under appropriate item of BOQ as supply only. (ii) Counting record of all supply only material issued to contractor as on required basis /demands by contractor for replacement shall be maintain properly on seprate register by concerned JE and counter signed by Engineer-in-charge monthly. (iii) The contractor will make arrangement for re-winding of fan at MES AGE E/M Store yard. The store/space for workshop will be provided by the department. (iv) MES No. of fan and GE (N) if missing, re-write the same as directed with sy-enamel paint and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted unit rates nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (v) The necessary winding machine/T & P/vehicles shall be arranged/brought by the contractor and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted unit rates nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Supply only super enamelled Copper winding wire suitable for motor winding of ceiling fans/exhaust fans/wall mounted fan/cabin fans/pedestral fans/table fans etc complete all as specified and as derected by Engineer-in-charge. (Make for winding wire :- Devidyal/HTP Thulax/Chetak/Atlas

Material and labour for collecting unserviceable ceiling fan / exhaust fan and other fan any make/model from E/M store yard of GE(N) Bathinda for replacement of ball bearing and bush only (except winding ) , Dismantling the fan and taking out complete parts, thoroughly cleaning the all components, replacement of ball bearing, gun metal bush and minor parts i.e. sleevs, nuts, bolts, machine screws etc including oiling/greasing, reassembling the fan as per original and testing and deposting to E/M store yard of GE(N) Bathinda complete all as specified and as derected by Engineer-in-charge. Note : (i) Bush, bearing, condenser shall be measured and paid separetaly under appropriate item of BOQ as supply only (ii) Counting record of all supply only material issued to contractor as on required basis /demands by contractor for replacement shall be maintain properly on seprate register by concerned JE and counter signed by Engineer-in-charge monthly. Material and labour for lath work to any type of fan for taking out/cutting by machine bush/bearing from the body part of ceiling fan and replacing it with suitable size of ball bearing/bush as per matching size to shaft making necessary bearing boring, polishing of shaft Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : - Bearing/bush (supply only) shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

Supply only ball bearing suitable for ceiling fan / exhaust fan or any other fan (like bearing size / No 6201 / 6202 / 6203 etc or as per exisiting size and No) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Make :- SKF/NBC/TATA/FAG/NSK

Disconnecting electric connection of ceiling fan (any size/make) at any site as per complaint given by JE for minor repair/lose connection/replacement of capacitor if required, replacement of connection wire if required, cleaning, replacement of nut bolts etc., and after that make the connection properly and testing the fan upto entire satisfaction of users complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) Fan shall be repaired at site and shall not be taken away of user's permisses. Fan if required taking down/re hanging the cost for the same shall be included in the unit rate nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) Connection wire if required (fan to connector/ceiling rose ) the cost for the same shall be included in the unit rate nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iii) Capacitor if required (if burnt/unserviceable), the same shall be measured and paid separetaly under appropriate item of BOQ. Counting record of all supply only material issued to contractor as on required basis /demands by contractor for replacement shall be maintain properly on seprate register by concerned JE and counter signed by Engineer-in-charge monthly. (iv) MES No. of fan and GE (N) if missing, re-write the same as directed with sy-enamel paint and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted unit rates nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Material and labour for painting to ceiling Fan of any sweep/size/make, checking nut bolts and replace if required, painting the fans (at store yard of AGE E/M or as per direction of Engineer-in-charge) complete including fan body, blades, canopies, down rod etc. with synthetic enamel paint by spray gun after scraping down old paint, cleaning all dust / spoil and greasy spots and including using filler for filling cavities, painting to fan in white/Black/Grey paint or as approved by Engineer-in-charge. After painting MES No and GE (N) shall be marked with red colour synthetic enamel paint using stencil as per existing alloted number complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement stepped type (1-4), electronic Fan regulator (one module), 100 watt, 250 volts, in existing switch board as per existing make and shape including making elctric connection and testing, including screw for fixing as required, fixing at any site as directed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make :- ANCHOR/LEGRAND/PHILLIPS/HAVELLS

Supply and fixing in replacement stepped type (1-4), electronic Fan regulator (two module), 100 watt, 250 volts, in existing switch board as per existing make and shape including making elctric connection and testing, including screw for fixing as required, fixing at any site as directed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make :- ANCHOR/LEGRAND/PHILLIPS/HAVELLS

Supply and fixing in replacement switch piano flush type, 5/6Amps, 250 volts, single pole, one wayin existing switch board as per existing make and shape including making elctric connection and testing, including screw for fixing as required, fixing at any site as directed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed to attend the complaints by the EIC. (ii) The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ
