15Km Coating refurbishment with Cold Applied Tape in different stretches of 12 inch BK and 12 inch HB under BKPL Jurisdiction in Bihar State.

Cleaning/ grading of ROW, Earthwork in excavation in all type of soil including hard murrum, rock etc not requiring blasting but may require mechanical means like JCB etc for required length of stretch along the pipeline trench 2.5 M avearge width & 3.0 M average depth or directed by Engineer-in-Charge/ Site Engineer and /or as required for the works including dressing of side and bottom and dewatering of the trench for sub-soil or any other water collected in the excavated trench as per tender specifications and/or directed by Engineer-in-Charge to enable the coat and wrap gang to carry out desired work, removal of old coat & wrap and making pipe surface preparation, cleaning by blasting using abrasive media (Copper Slag) conforming to SA 2-1/2 or US specification SSPC-SP-10 or British standard BS-4232 2nd quality or equivalent, followed by fresh primer of required DFT with the help of painting brush of approved quality along the pipe and on touch drying of the primer, applying one layer of Owner supplied cold tape, followed by second application of owner supplied outer tape as per tender specifications and /or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge/ Site Engineer including subsequent holiday testing, adhesion test, electrical inspection test etc, priming, coating & wraping of left out portion of skid supports/ other support points etc after backfilling the already coated section of pipeline between supports if employed on to the pipe trench bottom including backfilling using layers of soft earth screened by mesh / sieve equivalent over the pipe surface 20 cm around the periphery of the ML pipe and completing the backfilling while ensuring that pipe does not sink resulting in its tension as specified in the specification and clean up as directed by Engineer-in-Charge/ site engineer and restoration of the cleared area of the ROW to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge/ site engineer including all cost of labour, materials, fuel, carriage, leads & lifts, tools & tackles etc complete in all respect includes different stretches BKPL & HBPL in Bihar State. NOTE: 1) Stretches in HBPL has very hard rock and may require drilling, use of chisel eqiupments, etc. without any blasting. 2) Wherever excavation is not possible throiugh JCB, manual exacavation will be carried out. 3) Stretches in PM section of BKPL is low lying water logged/marshy area.

Transporting, fabricating and welding of sleeve/(s) as per specification, instruction and direction of Engineer in charge/ Site engineer & transporting the same to the site and fixing/ clamping to sleeves on mainline pipe on pitted area (full encirclement sleeves) and welding of the sleeves as per API 1104 code & ANSI B 31.4-1979 and as per specification mentioned elsewhere in the contract & to the direction of Engineer-in-Charge/ site engineer including supply of all labour, tools & tackles, equipments, consumables etc, complete in all respect as per specification and direction and to the complete satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge/ Site engineer, includes sites located in different stretches in Bihar sector of BKPL & HBPL. (Unit: Per running Metre of welding)

Earthwork in excavation in all type of soil including hard murrum, rock etc. not requiring blasting but may require mechanical means like JCB etc and may be involving electrical cables, water lines, sewer lines, storm/sullage water drain path ways made of concrete/bricks/Pitching bitumin road etc for required length of stretch along the pipeline trench from 3.0 m depth to 4.5 m depth including dewatering, repair of damaged cables ,water lines, sewer lines storm/sullage water drain path ways made of concrete/bricks/pitching bitumin road etc if any as per satisfaction of the dwelling owner or/EIC.

Backfilling beyond the depth of 3 m and up till 4.5 m of all available excavated earth to the satisfaction of site engineer/EIC.

Backfilling beyond the depth of 4.5 m and up till 6.0 m of all available excavated earth to the satisfaction of site engineer/EIC.

Dewatering Pump: providing diesel engine driver (of capacity not less than 10 HP) water pump set including mobilisation and demobilisation charges, Operator, fuel, hose length of suction / discharge side of atleast 50 meter for continuous functioning of the same at site [this item is kept for water logged area, item will be operated depending on the site condition as directed by EIC, Unit EA means for 10hrs of operation]

Supplying and filling earth/loose soil (excluding black cotton soil)/ murrum/ river sand from contractor's own borrow area including royalty, with all leads and lifts in low lying area andf filling required grade and level, compacting at optimum moisture contnt to 90% of proctor's density, consolidation and rolling with 8 to 10 tonne power roller in layers not exceeding 20cm thickness, complete in all respect of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles, to make low lying area workable as per the instruction of EIC. NOTE: Earth filling by soil shall be done for padding of Pipe in rock / hard murrom stretches. Murrum /river sand shall be used in marshy/ water logged area or as when directed by EIC as per site condition

Cutting bituminous/water bound macadam /concrete road, stacking the material and restoration of road in good condition as previous including supply of extra quantityof aggregate, moorum grit and bitumem etc. required, disposal of surplus earth if any/ complete as per the description of EIC. Job includes supply of all labour, equipments etc. NOTE: For calculation of Volume of road cutting, top portion of concrete/hard rock cut above top soil will be taken.

Centering and Shuttering to prevent Earth Collapse of Excavated Pit / Trench: Providing and fixing Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form, with double scaffolding system (cup lock type) and MS centring plates (with bolting arrangement) all - around inner side of excavated pit to retain the earth and prevent collapsing of trench. Cup Lock made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 meter centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps. MS Shuttering Plates should be connected with nut bolt system to each other and these are tied (with the outer face of the erected scaffold structure) cup lock scaffolding by MS binding wire. The scoffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer - in - charge. Same items are to be removed, after completion of the of the requirement of the same. This shall also include, transportation, material handling equipment, manpower, tools whatsoever requied for the job and duration of installed structure in the trenach, shall be as required for safe completion of the job as per IOCL'S descrition. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. NOTE: This item shall be operated requiring deep excavation in marshy/waterlogged area or as directed by EIC as per site condition.
