Note for all items of this BOQ :-

SITE FOR EXECUTION OF WORK :- 1) Tenderer shall note that work shall be executed at Runway / taxi track/ Tarmac & around of airfield area.

Due to continous operational commitment at Sulur Station, site for execution of work will be made available to contractor on Saturday, Sunday, Holiday and non flying days or whenever Runway will be made available to the department by ATS authorities.

The contractor will have to arrange his working programme accordingly.

The contractor has to liaise with the ATS authorities two days prior of his planned works and schedule accordingly.

Any claim of the contractor on account of will not be for not giving the entire site after award of work or giving the site in piecemeal manner entertained by the department at any stage.

The quoted rates shall be deemed to be inclusive of these aspects.

Reinforced Cement Concrete M-25 (Design Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation for drain and the like all as specified and as directed.

Reinforced Cement Concrete M-25 (Design Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in walls for drain and the like any thickness all as specified and as directed.

Reinforced Cement Concrete M-25 (Design Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in slabs on drain wall and the like all as specified and as directed. Note for items 9 to 11 : Necessary form work and reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately vide relevant items of this schedule

Cutting the rigid and fleible pavement portion above and below the RCC cover slab edge shall be cut in straight line ane vertically by using diamond cutter including demolition of cement concrete reinforced of any description and in any postion and making good as same surface

Form work to sides of concrete foundaions, footings, bases of columns, rafta and raft beams, sides and soffits of foundation and plinth beams and work vertical or to better finished rough all as directed.

Form work to faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses etc vertical or to better finished fair all as directed.

Form work to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work exceeding 200mm thick finished fair all as directed.

TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed0 not less than 0.9mm dia all as directed.

TMT bars 6 to 8mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed0 not less than 0.9mm dia all as directed.

Cutting, removing damage portion of concrete surface in square/ rectangular shape for a minimum depth of 15mm, cleaning the surface with wire brush or cloth and removing the dirt including the wetness and dampness by means of dryer and supply and laying geo polymer based "Geo Krete - HD of Make eco materials or equivalent in Fosroc chemicals/ Tiki Tar/ M/s STP Limited/sika india pvt ltd rapid setting curing free semi levelling structural mortar of single compound activated by water for quick construction & levelled the surface to match with existing surface all as per manufacturer’s instructions as specified & directed. The geopolymer based water impermeable concrete resurfacing mortar shall have compressive strength of 15 M Pa in 2 hours and 50 M Pa in 28 days without any water curing and curing compounds having a water penetration of less than 2 MM when tested as per DIN 1048 and RCPT valve of less than 800 coloumbs when tested as per ASTM C 1202.

Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quoting rate for above item:-

(a) The rate deemed to be included for making good to disturbed portion around the area where material are applied. (b) Material shall be procured from the authorised manufacturer only. (c) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the manufactor only in presence of departmental rep.

Cleaning of existing cover drain of any depth any width by using jet water pressure mechanical pump,suction pump and removing mud/silt, vegetation growth, plants/small tress etc to a distance 50m , including repairing cracks in cement mortar (1:3) where noticed in surfcace of drain all as directed and specified.

Note :- (a) The unit rate deemed to be considered for First Aid and necessary safety arrangements equipment’s to be provided by the contractor for workman. (b) The unit rate is deemed to be included for removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 1m from both side of the drain to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs. (c) The work to be executed in highly restricted area. (d) The contractor shall adhere to time frame as per the user’s requirement and as per demand. The demand and the location of work will be intimated either by the rep of user/ MES rep well in advance. In case of failure to attend the demand in time penalty will be levied for each day @ Rs 500/ for non-completing the requirement till completion of work. The nature of the work related to Airfield maintenance, hence the delay is not acceptable.

Removing leaves, grass, bushes, soil, plastic bags or any other waste material debries from drain and surrounding area of Air Field of any size in width and depth and removing the debries to a distance exceeding 5Km outside periphery of the airfield including removing and refixing cover slab after carried necessary repair work in CM 1:3 all as directed.

Supply and fixing 02 Nos of pre-laminated hylam sheet board water proofing (HPL) 3.00 mm thick of area exceeding 0.5 Sqm but not exceeding 1.00 Sqm with suitable aluminium beading/frame of square hollow tube of size 30 mm x 3 mm thick on rear side of each board fixed with bolts and nuts and fixing reflective things on both side of each board such as numbers, letters ( Minimum 2 Nos letters should be on each face of board ) made by Retro-Reflective sheet 1 mm thick of diamond pattern in any colour, letters of approximate size 340 mm wide and 450 mm height and the board fixed on 02 Nos UPVC pipe of 50 mm dia of approximate length 1.50M each pipe using necessaary clamps, screw and bolts and errected vertically inside the existing GI/MS pipe 80 mm dia grouting in PCC 1:3:6 for foundation of size 500x500x500mm complete all as directed by Engr in charge Note :- PCC foundation will be measured and paid separately. However, excavation , 2 Nos UPVC pipe of 50 mm dia of approximate length 1.50M each pipe and Retro-Reflective tape and taking down existing one are including quoted rate.

Filling the cracks in flexible pavement surface of any size by applying bitumen emulsion @ 0.50 litre per running metre and filled with paste by mixing quartz sand, sand, cement and emulsion in the ratio of 1:10:0.50 and shall be applied in one or two coats to ensure complete filling of the cracks in line with existing pavement strucures.

Stone Boulder pitching, hand packed tightly and grouted in CM 1:6 including demolition of existing stone work and removing from site to out side MD land.

Supply and fixing 02 Nos of pre-laminated hylam sheet board water proofing (HPL) 3.00 mm thick of area exceeding 7.5 Sqm but not exceeding 10.00 Sqm with suitable aluminium beading/frame of square hollow tube of size 30 mm x 3 mm thick on rear side of each board fixed with bolts and nuts and fixing reflective things on both side of each board such as numbers, letters ( Minimum 2 Nos letters should be on each face of board ) made by Retro-Reflective sheet 1 mm thick of diamond pattern in any colour, letters of approximate size 340 mm wide and 450 mm height and the board fixed on 02 Nos UPVC pipe of 50 mm dia of approximate length 1.50M each pipe using necessaary clamps, screw and bolts and errected vertically inside the existing GI/MS pipe 80 mm dia grouting in PCC 1:3:6 for foundation of size 500x500x500mm complete all as directed by Engr in charge Note :- PCC foundation will be measured and paid separately. However, excavation , 2 Nos UPVC pipe of 50 mm dia of approximate length 1.50M each pipe and Retro-Reflective tape are including quoted rate.

Retro Reflective tape in any pattern, shape/number/letters on old existing boards after cleaning and removing of existing letters/tape 1 mm thick diamond pattern and size of letter approximate size 340 mm wide and 450 mm height as directed and specified.

Applying one coat of water based road marking paint such as lines, dashes, arrows, letters, boxes etc on roads, pavements and the like including preparation of surfaces by brushes/ mechanical grinder/sand papers, making surface rough to hold paint exceeding 10 cm wide all as specified and as directed using spraying machine including necessary DG Set required to operate machines used for scraping / removal of existing paint deemed to be inclusive in the above quoted rate. Make of road marking paint :M/s Asian paints, M/s Jenson and Nicholson, M/s Berger paints, or as approved by GE. Note :- (i) During weekdays site will be available for approximate 4 to 5 hours du+B19e to aircraft movements such as landing/takeoff .(ii) During weekend days site will be available for 5 to 6 hours. Contractor shall consider the above points while quoting the rate and no extra payment shall be claim by the contractor on account of this.

TMT bars 5mm dia and over up to including 12mm dia as in stirrups, spacers, links & binders cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia all as directed.

Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, 100mm thick, as in floor , finished even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and as directed.

Cement concrete type D2 1:4:8 75 mm thick as in sub base complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing of soft/loose soil n.exc 15 cm deep etc and as directed. The measurement will be recorded by the air force authority in a pucca bound register and payment will be made based on the entries.

Note :- (a) Removing of accumulated earth at run way shoulders of any width and depth upto 15cm cleaning / Cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/ kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste to outside MD land is deemed to be included in quoted rate.

(b) The contractor shall adhere to time frame as per the user's requirment and as per demand. The demand and the location of work will be intimated either by rep of User/ MES rep well in advance. Incase of failure to attend the demand in time penalty will be levied for each day @ Rs 1000/- for non completing the requirment till completion of work. Note that this penalty is exclusively other than condition 56 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract.

(c) The decision of Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final & binding.

(d) The nature of work under is related to Air Field maintenance. Hence delay is not acceptable.

DTGM board black colour 4mm thick acrylic sheets 02 Nos each of size 1.50 x 1.20 M with 100 mm dia air pressure clearance circle 8 Nos on each board including acrylic polishing fixing of retro reflective stickers (red colour) of length 1.00 M and width 0.15 M on each board, fixing the boards to 3 Nos of vertical post of approx height 2.48 M each pipe covered sat top, middle, bottom portion with 25mm dia PVC pipes 15 Kgf/Cm2 (IS 4985) fixed with PVC bushes and screws, erecting the frames in GI/MS pipes etc including taken down existing one and complete all as directed by Engr in charge.

75 mm thick hardcore of broken stone or boulders of gauge n.exc 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n.exc 15 cm thick watered and rammed to a true surface.

Framed work as in grills below RCC road culvert opening at up stream & down stream end all as shown on drawings and as directed. Note: Necessary painting shall be measured and paid seperately vide relevant item of this schedule.
