Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of any girth , removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto all lead including removal and disposal of top organic soil up to any thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, August, 2004 and clause 1603.1 (8.3) (ii) (A) and 1603.2 (8.3)(iv) of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of useful material for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. Recovery of usefull stones for 541.69Cum (Five hundred forty one point six nine cubic metre) @ Rupees 300.00 ( Three Hundred per cubic metre ) amounting to Rs:-162567/-only shall be done on prorata basis from each running bill of this item.
Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as Retaining walls,breast walls, culverts, drain and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiselling/ wedging out rocks ( where blasting prohibited ) as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specification clause 305.1 and as per direction of the Engineer -in -charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal upto all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable approved materials to the orginal surface in layers not exceeding 150 mm (One hundred fifty milimeters) compacting thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of thedirection of the Engineer -in - charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax or other taxes imposed by the Govt.
Providing and laying Mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete 1:5:10 (one cement : five sand: ten graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimeter) nominal size with 15 % (fifteen percente) plum for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work, the size of plums shall be 150mm to 300 mm (one hundred fifty millimetre to three hundred milimetre) and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing walls, return walls with 100mm (hundred millimeter) diameter PVC Pipe extending through the full width of structures with slope of 1(Vertical) : 20 (Horizontal) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm diametre G.I. wire confirming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100mm x 100mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 % extra for laps and joints laid with stones boulders weighting not less than 25 kg. each as per drawing and technical specificifications clause 1301 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying filter media with granular crushed aggregates as per specification to a thickness of not less than 600 mm (Six hundred millimetre) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and providing over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall, return wall to the full height, compacted to firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Construction of Sub-grade and Earthen Shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Mix the solution completely. Spray the solution @ 0.40 Litre per sqm (zero point forty litre per square metre) on compacted stone base including hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm ( twenty five into twenty five into five millimetre).
