Renewal by supply, erection, commissioning, testing and handing over of 1No 250KVA Diesel Generator Set (CPCB IV+Norms) canopy, fuel tank battery charging alternator with AMF Control Panel developing 3phase electrical output 250KVA powered by diesel engine of 0.8P.F Three phase 415/420Volts, 50c/s, 310 BHP at 1500RPM as detailed below. a]. ENGINE: KIRLOSKAR oil engine make model 6SL 8800 TA turbo charged vertical inline 6 cylinders. Liquid cooled diesel engine developing 310 HP at 1500 RPM conforming B.S 5514 / 6490 or IS 10000 incorporating the following accessories. a]. The engine shall comprise the following standard fittings Flexible coupling with guard, Flywheel, Air cleaner, Fan blower type with guard, Radiator with guard, water pump engine mounted, Fuel pump, Fuel filter , Lubrication oil filter, Lubrication oil pump, Governor (mechanical/hydraulic) Exhaust silencer residential type. b]. Electric starting equipment, complete with starter motor, dynamo and battery with cables, flexible exhaust piping of 50cms length.

c].ENGINE INSTRUMENT PANEL MOUNTED: Starting push button with key, lubricating oil temperature gauge, lubricating oil pressure gauge, water temperature gauge, safety control for low lubricating oil pressure, safety control for high water temperature, safety control for over speed, hour meter and RPM meter indicator, battery charging ammeter. The engine should be capable of providing 10% overload for one hour for every 11 hours continuous running at full load. d]. ALTERNATOR: KIRLOSKAR GREEN make Alternator rated at 250KVA, 415V, 0.8PF, 50Hz, 3phase , 4wire self regulated and self exited with voltage regulation of + or 1% class “H” insulation in SPDP enclosure and confirming to IS 4722/BS 2613, suitable for close coupling. trip proof with IP21 protection as per ISI. e]. AMF CONTROL PANELS The control panel (cubical) should be vermin and dust proof and fabricated with 16 SWG CRCA sheet metal and floor mounted with suitable hinged doors, enamel painted & incorporating the following.

The panel should be complete with bus bars internal connections and with necessary fuses, cables and other accessories and with tapping for the incoming supply from the alternator and for the outgoing supply to the load f].FUEL TANK: Fuel tank of 460 liters capacity to generator with inlet and outlet connection filling cap drain plug level indicator etc., complete. g].BASE FRAME: The base frame should be fabricated with MS channel of rigidly welded constructed for mounting the generator set. The engine and alternator should be coupled by suitably designed diaphragm type flexible coupling with guard and mounted on the base frame with proper alignment. The supply of generator set includes loading, unloading and transportation charges.

h]. Supply of maintenance and operating manual with list of engine parts and alternator parts. j]. Erection Testing and Commissioning BATTERY: 25 plate 150 AH 12V battery with one set of connecting leads of 75 Sq.mm copper cable with sockets etc., MANUALS & DOCUMENTATION : Operation and maintenance manual for engine, maintenance manual for alternator, engine test certificate, alternator test certificate, circuit diagram for control panel, DG set test certificate, CPCB compliance label fixed on canopy. Supply of ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE suitable for 250KVA Diesel Generator set. The acoustic enclosure should be free standing floor mounting type with modular construction with the provision to assemble and dismantle easily and designed to suit all weather conditions The construction details / specification: Acoustic Modules: Outer body: 2mm thick CRCA sheet Door: 2mm thick CRCA sheet

Inner surface:0.8mm thick GI perforated sheet / Perforation area should be > 2 / 3 of total area Insulation:100mm thick Rock Wool (Density: 65kg / cub.m or as approved by competent authority) to suit CPCB norms Skeleton structure Channels: should not be less than ISMC75 and ISMC 100. Cleats: should not be less angle 40x6mm and 50x 6mm. The sheet metal competent shall be pre-treated by seven tank process. The joints should be designed in such a way the airborne noises are prevented. For larger panels, special care should be taken to prevent deformation. Adequate ventilators should be provided so that the generator performance is not affected and also the temperature inside is limited. The maximum permissible sound pressure level should be as per the norms prescribed by the central Pollution Control Board/ State Pollution Control Board / Competent Authority concerned or should be 75db(A) at 1meter from the enclosure surface, whichever is advantageous to the department.

The emergency stop and suitable meter with digital display to indicate inside ambient temperature of the enclosure should be available on the enclosure panel. The enclosure should be only poly polished based coated inside and outside The enclosure provided shall be duly approved by the Engine Manufacture of the Engine provide for Diesel Generator sets mounted inside and should be to the satisfaction of Inspection / Testing Authority concerned (Kirloskar/Cummins Make)

Erection of Gen set:- Providing suitable concrete foundation with cement concrete 1:2:4 with sand cushion all around the foundation erection of 250KVA Generator set over the existing foundation and erection of Generator set with proper alignment over the existing foundation to suit 250KVA Gen set.

Renewal supply and installation of exhaust piping with Silencer of sufficient length with suitable MS pipe so as to extend outside the generator with necessary thermal insulation

Renewal by supply and run of 25mm x 3mm tinned copper flat with necessary clamps/supports on wall/floor/ground for earth connection

Preparation of site plan, physical layout, electrical line schematic diagram in 10 sets getting drawing approval from CEIG preparation of completion report, rectification report and arranging CEIG inspection and obtaining safety certificate preparation of 1 set of approved drawing and a copy of safety certificate in a neat frame work to be fixed in generator room and payment of CEIG inspection fees.

Providing fuel oil to run the set for 8 hours on load testing and commissioning using water rheostat or suitable leading element.First charging of fuel oil to full capacity and first charging of battery while handing over to dept.
