M&L for Scarifying or picking gravelled exc 50mm deep but n exc 100 mm depth in macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area n exc 400 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rate quoted by contractor shall be deemed to incl for removal of rubble/ debris out MoD land.

M&L for repairs to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal (including supply of road metal) rolling and well ramming surface of road and applying tack coat with Bituminuos primer of VG-10 grade @ 5Kg/10 Sqm using putting in semi dense bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix and well rammed (including supply of Semi Dense macadam binder and chipping) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor/ gunny bags to remove all loose dirt including removing material to low lying area from MoD land etc applying evenly priming/tack coat with paving bitumen of VG-10 grade at penetration at 5 Kg per Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L bituminous premixed semi dense bituminous concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness using paving bitumen (VG-30) 5.5% binder content and filler by weight of total mix as per design mix, spread by means of self propelled mechanically spreader/paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete , by using mechanically power road roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: (i) The mix design shall be carried out only in SeMT wing / Govt approved lab/National test House/Engineering College as approved by the GE before commencement of work. (ii) As a result of job mix formula, if quantity of binder content works out to be more than 5.5% than no extra payment shall be made to the contractor and in case its quantity works out be less than 5.5% than minimum binder content of 5.5% givne herein above shall be provided. (c) The premix semi-dense asphltic concrete shall be procured form computerized hot mix plant as approved by GE. (iii) Thickness of semi dense asphaltic concrete and qualities of materials as mentioned in particular specification /SSR are the minimum. The quoted rate shall also be deemed to include for provsion of more materials in comparison to those mentioned/ specified in the item, if shape all as directed by the GE. (iv) Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing stone and fine aggregate and binder (nitumen) and semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be laid in single layer with self propelled mechanical paver all as directed by the GE. The vintage of sensor paver shall not be more than 05 years. (iv) Contractor's quoted rates shall be deemed to include all these aspects.

S&F for Road marking strips, lines, dashes, arrow, letter etc of 2/2.5 mm thick (reflective type) white/yellow hot thermo plastic marking paint compound not exc 10cm wide, with thermo plastmaterial @5Kg/Sqm confirming to BS standard 3632 with 20% of glass beads (intermixed) spread and laid by fully automatic Thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heaters driven by skilled operator on road surface inclding preparation of existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 75 mm thick or less consolidated thickness Premixed Bituminous macadam of grade VG-30 penetration and using 12 to 25 mm graded crushed preheated stone aggregate, laid with the help of mechanical paver and rolled compacted to required gradient and camber with VIBRATORY ROLLER COMPACTOR of 8-12 tonne using 4% binders by weight to mix to make good depression/ pot holes complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) The job design formula shall be got down from The mix design tests shall be carried out only in SEMT wing/Govt approved lab/National test House/Engineering College as approved by the GE before commencement of work. (b) As a result of job mix formula, if quantity of binder content works out to be more than 4% than no extra payment shall be made to the contractor and in case its quantity works out be less than 4% than minimum binder content of 4% givne herein above shall be provided. (c) The Job design shall be got down from approved lab and shall be approved by GE before commencement of work.

S&F in repair Speed Breaker in Black and yellow combination made of ABS material of size 425x75x500 of Model No DA1001complete all as specified and directed.
