SMART REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT, SUNKEN REPAIR AND CONNECTED WORKS TO CERTAIN MD ACCN UNDER AGE B/R-I AT GE JHANSI

Removing existing water proofing treatment by brushing with wire brush, cleaning of terracing by taking down cement concrete, existing plaster lime coba 80 to 100mm thick mud phuska/cement concrete/lime coba etc, cleaning of all foreign material such as fungus mass dust etc, roughing surface of corner to roof by wire brush complete all as specified and directed.

M&L of water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane centre core 100mm micron HMHDPE outer film 20 micron each having thickness 3mm weight not less than 3kg/Sqm as per manufacturer’s instructions with torch applicationcomplete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge with following course of description below:-

(a) 10 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 with WPC will be applied over the roof slab when concrete is green. After the plaster is cured the roof will be tested for water tightness by ponding with water for seven days for any seepage is observed the rectification will be carried out by pressure grouting under the pressure of 5kg/sqcm using cement based cement grout. After the surface is repaired the slab will be tested for water tightness again before proceeding with further treatment. (b) the surface of roof, parapet and gutters, drain mouths, etc. over which waterproofing treatment is to be applied shall be cleaned of all foreign matter such as, fungus, moss, dust etc by wire brushing and dusting. For cast iron/PVC drain out lets a groove shall be cut around to tuck in the treatment. Concrete angle-fillets shall be provided at junctions between roofs and vertical faces of walls (parapet and other walls) around obstacles such as pipes, chimney stacks, etc. and other similar situation to ease up about corners. (c) Bitumious based primer confirming to IS: 3384 @ 0.3 kg/SqM to be applied on prepared surface, till the surface is properly impregnated. (d) After the application of approved bituminous primer the water proofing membrane shall be laid on the primed surface by torch application method as per manufacturer's instructions. The overlap while torching shall be 100mm in longitudnal direction and 100 mm in transverse direction. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer. (e) All joints and changes in direction should be curved with cement mortar 1:3 mixed with SBR latex @ 200ml per bag of cement and cured well before laying the membrane. Note :- (i) Under layer i.e PCC padding/ plastering and finishing layer i.e. aluminium paint or cement concrete tiles shall be measured and paid seperately.

M&L for Apply a coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm over APP membrance, complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Cement concrete tiles 25cm x 25cm x 20mm thick, machine pressed; set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors/roof complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in padding levelling etc and roof kerbs complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound @ 0.20 Ltr/bags on roof surface when concrete is green complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound, mixed in cement mortar as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Note:(a) The work under item 02 and 08 shall be carried out by the authorized applicator of Manufacturer by using modern techniques. The contractor shall also furnish warranty of quality, finish work and effectiveness of waterproofing treatment under this item for a periof of 8 years from the date of completion along with manufacturer warranty of material for the same period. (b) Height of bldg may be more than 10 meters and roof have continous series of trapizium with no staircase to reach at the top of the building (c) The contractor shall upload MOU letter with any one of manufacturer and also with their authorised applicator mentioned in the tender alongwith their bid in cover-I failing which his bid will be rejected. Authorised applicator shall have valid authorisation letter from the manufacturer (Minimum regional HQs) and shall have been issued not less than 30 days from the date of commencement of the work. The authorisation letter needs to be valid for the complete period of execution work. (d) After preparation of the surface, Engr-in-Charge shall approve the same before applying finishing coats. (e) Building wise stage passing register shall be maintained and shall be signed by Engr-in-Charge and contractor. (f) The equipments to be used in the work shall be certified by the manufacturer with whom the MOU been entered into. (g) Contractor shall submit approved company generated 8 years warranty card at the time of submission of Final Bill.

M&L for application/forming of waterproofing liquid membrane moistening the prepared surface for proper dispersion and penetration and applying two component cementitious elastomeric water proofing coating damp block 2k as per manufacturers specifications. The treatment shall be carried out to the entire bottom surface and vertical surface upto the bottom height of wall tiles. Adequate curing to be done on vertical surfaces and ponding test for 48 hours on the bottom surface to be carried out complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : (a) Treatment shall be done through authorised applicator/representative of the manufacturer only. (b) Warranty for water proofing to be submitted by the contractor as per manufacturer norms (c) The contractor shall upload MOU letter with any one of manufacturer and also with their authorised applicator mentioned in the tender alongwith their bid in cover-I failing which his bid will be rejected. Authorised applicator shall have valid authorisation letter from the manufacturer and shall have been issued not less than 30 days from the date of commencement of the work. The authorisation letter needs to be valid for the complete period of execution work. (d) After preparation of the surface, Engr-in-Charge shall approve the same before applying finishing coats. S&F of rotational moulded polyethylene cylindrical vertical with closed top water storage tank triple layered WHITE COLOUR 500 Ltr capacity with connecting nipple, hoisted and fixed in position on new or existing foundation and making GI tubing inlet or outlet connection, with and incl disconnecting and dismantling the existing un-serviceable PVC/RCC water tank on top of roof/slab of bldgs, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of rotational moulded polyethylene cylindrical vertical with closed top water storage tank triple layered WHITE COLOUR 1000 Ltr capacity with connecting nipple, hoisted and fixed in position on new or existing foundation and making GI tubing inlet or outlet connection, with and incl disconnecting and dismantling the existing un-serviceable PVC/RCC water tank on top of roof/slab of bldgs, complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning etc. and hoisting, reconnecting and re-fixing in position of exc. 250 litres & not exc. 500 litres capacity of tanks,Date of cleaning of tank will be marked on the tank by stencil with synthetic enamaled paint in uniform size, Size of letters & numbers should be 40mm. complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning etc. and hoisting, reconnecting and re-fixing in position of 1000 litres capacity of tanks, Date of cleaning of tank will be marked on the tank by stencil with synthetic enamaled paint in uniform size, Size of letters & numbers should be 40mm. complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of 20 mm bore Gun-metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of 20 mm dia of Brass Ball valves high pressure with flynut complete screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of 20 mm dia of Ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe and fixed. (minimum weight 20 mm-210 gms) etc, complete all as directed.

Dismantling of wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/slabs/blankets, any thickness, including snap grid frame work all as specified.

S&F of exposed frame false ceiling system with GI powder coated grid consisting of interlocking arrangement of main T runner of 15mm size, suspended at 1200mm C/C and cross T runner of 15mm size suspended at 600mm C/C supported by 1.5 mm dia GI wire from roof/Slab/truss including wall/perimeter runner/channel of 15 mm size with and including 4mm thick pre-painted non asbestos fiber reinforced cement board (E-board), designer type of size 595x595mm duly fixed in ceiling frame work complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position of WC’s/Bathroom etc in sunken portion area above ground floor, removing demolished material completely and old waste pipe from sunken portion and cleaning the side/bottom surface of sunken floor with wire brush, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:5:10 Type E2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in mass filling in two layer in sunken portion complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing newly plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of cement based primer and a coat of putty to make the surface to be plain and smooth complete all as sppecified and directed.
