Tender for Supplying and fixing of Tyre fenders and Painting of existing bollards at Chennai Fishing Harbour

1.Supplying and fixing in position 32mm dia ‘U’ shape galvanized (80 – 100 microns thick hook of length 5oomm as shown in the Drawing on the existing berth structure (Low level wharf) for fixing good quality old tyre (including 16mm dia connecting rod) without any damage of size 1.00 to 1.10m outer dia / (11.00 R20) at a spacing of 1.25m c/c for Fender purposes by making hole for fixing / tying 18mm dia chain link for a total length of 900mm (6Nos of each chain link) at the sides of the existing low level wharf / Finger jetti in position by core cutting the hole on deck / beam to the required embedment depth of 150mm each side and grouting with resin epoxy for fixing U shape galvanized hook with (HILTI RE 500V4 or equivalent resin epoxy) as existing at site making good the disturbed portions and all as directed at site including drilling holes, labour, materials, fuel, equipment, lifting, bending, welding, transporting, etc., complete. Note: Equivalent resin epoxy chemical will be permitted subject to prior approval of the Nodal officer only if Hilti chemical is not available in the market.

2Preparing the surface of existing pipe Bollard including scrapping, removing rust particles and painting the exposed surface with two coats of anticorrosive epoxy paint over a coat of epoxy primer, all as directed at site including all labour, materials, fuel, equipment, welding, transporting etc., complete.
