Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing KPPP Portal.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders.

Materials like bitumen, steel, cement etc., required for the work shell be procured by the tenderer themselves and should get tested by the quality control authority before use on the work.

As per Karnataka state Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.2007 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labor welfare fund.

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original, Submit the original document at the time of technical bid opening or next day and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the original documents before approval.

If any, additional information required, the same may be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer, PWD, Bangalore Division, BANGALORE during office hours on all working days. It may be noted that if any of the dates mentioned above happened to be a General Holiday, the next working day will be considered.

The employer reserves the rights to Reject or accept any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons.

The contractors assessed available tender capacity shall be more than the tender value, it will be calculated as per the STD tender document Attached.

The Tender processing fee shall not be refundable.

Tenderer who qualifies in the technical bid such tenderers financial bid will be opened.

Contractor should establish a fully functional laboratory at site at no extra cost in order to carry out all the required tests for the materials being used in the project.

Contractor should take all precautions to ensure that no damage is caused to the existing similar structures which have been constructed by other agencies during project execution. If any damage is caused, it has to be rectified at his own risk and cost.

Contractor should carryout additional test required to test the suitability of materials before using the same to the work.

Formation levels and other data furnished are bare minimum, the contractor should make all efforts to validate and to get additional data if required at his own cost. Contractor should execute the project with least impact to the environment.

When Structure constructed disputes arising on account of damages to the existing bunds, Structure and other private properties, if any, has to be resolved by the contractor. All precautions should be taken by the contractor so that there are no damages to such public /private properties.

Contractor should take all precautionary measures to avoid any damage to the utilities during excavation as well as utility shifting. To that extent the contractor should indemnify the client.

Contractor should follow strictly the prevailing rules of labour act.

The Bidder shall not furnish any fake/fabricated/false information or withhold facts etc., if the bidder is found to have violated any of these above (found either during evaluation or after awarding the tender), the tender shall be rejected and action as per rules and regulations shall be taken against the Bidder.

If the Successful Bidder has quoted lesser rates than the estimated rates then he should without fail remit the Unbalanced Tender Amount along with the Security Deposit within the stipulated time as that shall be specified in the Letter of Acceptance, failing which the tender of the Successful Bidder shall be rejected.

All the items of work as Maintained in the Bill of Quantity (BOQ) are including lead and lift charges loading and unloading charges labour charges all incidental charges hire charges of all machinery and equipment required for successful completion of work etc., complete. The work shall be executed as per standard technical specification and directions of Engineer in charge of the work.

Terms and condition of Contract as per Approved STD KW-1

Uploaded original BG or EMD to be submitted to The Executive Engineer, PWD Bangalore Division, Bangalore before the date of opening of the tender otherwise tender will be rejected for non-submission of EMD.

Period of Completion is 03 Months & DLP 12 Months from the date of Work Order

Contractor shall be Class-IV & Above

Progress of Work will be reviewed monthly / at the end of each Milestone. In case the Progress achieved falls short by more than 10% of the Cumulative Programmed, the Reasons for such Shortfall shall be examined and a Record made thereof apportioning the Responsibilities for the Delay between the Contractor and the Employer.

The increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the Contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time.

The Item rates are Exclusive of GST

The rates should be quoted Exclusive of GST. (As per the GOVT Order FD 417 Exp-12/2024 Dt:09.08.2024.)
