Scarifying or picking up gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surface area n exc 400 Sqm, exc 50 mm and n exc 100 mm in depth all as specified.

Rolling and consolidating of formation surfaces in cutting with power roller exc 8 tonne and n.exc 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Soling 150mm spread thickness (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surfaces formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 15cm thick (Compacted thinkness) Water Bound Macadam in two layers of 7.5cm thick each with course aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Preparing unsurfaced Water Bound Macadam by burshing with wire burshes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Surface dressing, renewal coat by spraying evenly paving bitumen @ 12kg/X Sqm, blinding with 10 mm stone chipping @ 0.10 Cum/ X Sqm and rolling to required gradient and camber all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Repair to pot holes depth not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud over water scoring sunken surfaces in road,path etc. Cutting around edges to atleast 25 mm in depth making good by applying tack coat bituminious primer (Gde VG-10) @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm putting Bituminious premixe semi dense asphaltc concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content of paving bitumen (VG-10) by weight of total mix,rolled and compacted to required camber and graident using mechanical paver hot mix plant as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Premixed carpet shall be mixed in hot mix plant as specified.

Premixed Bituminious, macadam laid /rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber consoliidated thickness 75mm or less with paving Bitumen of Grade VG-30 and binder content as per design mix but not less than 4% by weight of total mix incl rolling and compaction to achive desire density complete alll as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Repair to patches where depressions over 5mm thick shall also be carried out under this items. Contractor's quoted rate for this items shall be deemmed to include for cleaning of surface and removel of the rubbish material to distance as specified

Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminious primer using paving bitumen viscosity at grade (VG-10) @ 5.00kg/10 sqm to Bitumen macadam/premix surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminious primer using paving bitumen viscosity at grade (VG-10) @ 10.00kg/10 sqm to Bituminous Macadam surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Preparing of black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc and sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirts etc complete all as specified and directed.

Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with stone chipping graded aggregate with 5.5% binder contents by weight of paving bitumen Viscosity grade (VG-30) by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient using mechanical paver complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :Qty shall be executed/used for patch work only.

Material and labour for marking of bituminious roads over certre line/edge line the road marking/speed breaker marking over speed breaker using thermoplastic paint (as per ASTM D 36/BS 3262 Part-I as approved by GE) ( Hot application) white/yellow by indigenious modern propeller road marking machine with a single coat of 2.5 mm thickness as directed by the Engineer - in -charge including cost and convenyance, all ingredients such as binder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, inters pillars, pigments as per Morth specifications of clauses 83.4.2.3 be sprayed at the rate of 250gm/sqm in succession. The rate to include cost of all other materials, labour charges for mixing the ingredients to the required temprature, cleaning the road surface , premarking, cautionary sign boards,red flags, traffic cones as per traffic rules, safegaurding the newly painted marking complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines dashes, arrows etc and the like n. exc 10 cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufactures instruction complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Precast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks exc 10 cm width type B1 (1:2:4) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate set in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
