Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & providing water proofing treatment with polymeric standard water proofing membrane having 10 years guarantee for water tightness comprising with the following courses of treatment/specification from bottom to top:- (a) Taking out old roof treatment and roughening the concrete roof surffaces by picking, sweeping cleam and washing down with water to remove dust etc and disposal of rubbish not exceeding 100 mtr distance from starting point. (b) Brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 kg of cement per square meter. (c) Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 over RCC slab mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer's instruction. (d) Preparation of plastered surfaces and applying one coat of polymeric modified bitumen 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm over a coat of polymeric primer @ 0.30 Kg/Sqm including cleaning surface, all as per manufacturer's specification. (e) Water proofing treatment with APP based polymeric membrane of thickness not less than 3mm and weight 3.6 to 4 Kg/Sqm re-inforced with non-woven polyster fabric (weighting not less than 160 gm/Sqm) by torch application method. The overlaps shall be minimum 100mm on the transverse direction and 75 mm on the longitudinal direction and cutting grooves in wall for inserting wherever required complete all as per manufacturer's instruction and as specified and directed. (f) M&L for preparation of new APP roof surfaces of any description and applying two coats of aluminium paint @ 0.1Litre /Sqm/Coat on APP surfaces exc.10cm width or girth all as specified and directed. Note;- (i) water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately as supply only. (ii) Works shall be executed through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer and documents in support of the same shall be submitted to the Engr-in-Charge prior to the commencement of the work.

Fill it water and check for dampness and seepage, all junctions points of side walls where CI/GI pipe are passing shall be sealed with epoxy mortar. Apply two coats of polymer modified cementious water proofing coating of minimum thickness of 1 mm each layer as per manufacturers instructions on floor & walls (upto 100 mm above FFL) and spray coarse sand on surface when the second layer is still sticky. Apply 20 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 mixed with integral WPC of approved make on floors and walls including rounding of corners and junctions stoping towareds spouts. All pipes laid in sunken portions shall be covered with 50 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 all around after painting with anti corrosive black japan paint on GI/CI pipes. Test the water proofed area by filling water at least 72 hours and tested for leakage/seepage for the entire satisfaction of GE. After above said treatment apply two coats of hot blown bitumen @ 1.5 Kg /Sqm for each coat and laying 50 micron black polythene film in floors complete all as specified and directed. (Note : If leakage/Seepage occured after filling water at least 72 hours, the above said treatment will be re-done completely)
