Dismantling of bricks (laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles in floors, road berms, channels, apron etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of existing brick road edging laid vertically in any position including making good the disturbed portion complete all as specified.

Soling (or sub base)150 mm thick (spread thickness) with broken boulders or quarried stone (Sand stone, Flint or quartzite) of gauge 40mm to 80mm deposited spread levelled in one layer inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber well rammed with power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified.

150mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in two separate layers each layer of 75mm thickness with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) of Granite,Trap-Basalt for first layer and of grading 3 (50mm to 20 mm size ) for second layer ( surface of each layer will be blinded with screening and moorum, watered consolidated and compacted separately), , spread, rolled and consolidated top to required gradient and camber using granite trap or basalt stone with 8 to 12 tonne roller complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags and air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc.and applying a tack coat of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm for premix bituminous carpet all as specified .

Preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags and air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc.and applying a tack coat of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm for premix bituminous carpet all as specified and directed

Providing and laying Premix Bituminous concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2 with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic paver finisher and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 507 MORTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and directed. NOTES : 1. The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CIause. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BC shall be worked out from Thapar Insti. of Engg & Tech. Patiala/ NIT Kurukshetra/ PEC Changigarh/ CTL for obtaining Optimum Binder Content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the accepting officer for approval. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ Rs 42/kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side. 2. Cost of filler i.e. cement (Ordinary portland cement/OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. 3. After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling with 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per Clause Nos. 507.4.8 and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate.

Providing and laying Premix Bituminous macadam of consolidated thickness 25mm to 50mm, using paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30 @ and binder content of 4% by weight of total mix with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic paver finisher (Paver shall not be compulsory in case of patch work using B.M.) and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 504 MoRTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and directed. NOTES : 1. The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 4% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CI. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BM shall be worked out from Thapar Insti. of Engg & Tech Patiala/NIT Kurukhshetra /PEC Chandigarh/CTL for obtaining optimum binder content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the accepting officer for approval. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ 42/kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side. 2. The BM shall be covered with top layer/wearing course within in a maximum of 48 hours. If ther is to be any delay, by the contractor the course shall be covered by seal coat to the requirement of Clause 512 of MORTH (5th Rev) before opening to the traffic. The seal coat in such cases shall be considered incidental to the work and shall not be paid for separately.

Continuous brick road edging using sub class 'B' bricks with width equal to width of brick laid dry on end vertically include for embedding bricks in the ground to depths indicated and tamping ground around bricks and including necessary excavation in soft / loose soil also for removing any surplus spoil to a distance n exc 50 mtrs complete all as specified.

Excavation over area n.exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m in depth for foundation/formation for road work etc and getting out complete all as specified.

Surface excavation n.exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Removing excavated material n exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in road / berms etc to required level gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne roller including filling of depression during process with approved earth complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M & L for 2.5mm thick road marking thermo plastic reflective paint to be carried out mechanically with hot application of material (painting material @ 5 Kg /Sqm ) and glass beads @ 250 gm/Sqm confirming to CI No. 803.4 of MoRTH in strips of 100/150 mm width on road surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. S&F road cat eye 90X110x17mm meeting with ASTM and MoR&TH standards with yellow reflector yellow body colour and two side lens all as specified. The studs shall be fixed to the road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per manufacturers recommendation complete all as specified and directed. MAKE : 3M 290 series

Repairs to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scouring sunken surfacesin roads, path etc cutting edges at least 25 mm depth and making good by applying tack coat with bitumen @ 5 kg/X Sqm, putting in premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 well rammed and sealed with binder @ 9.80 kg mixed with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3 mm size per 10 Sqm and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipings, depth of pot holes exe 30mm thick, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Pot holes shall be marked by Engineer-in-charge before commencement of work and same shall be entered in the MB after making good and before laying of bituminous premix carpet.

S&F delineator fitted with ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 50 mm or 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on MS pipe of 50mm dia and min 700mm high duly powder coated, anti rust & anti theft steel net. net including necessary fixing arrangmenet, earthwork, concrete block of size 150x150x200mm in PCC 1:2:4, removal of surplus soil etc complete all as specified and directed.
