Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m depth and getting out soft / loose soil for laying cables / pipes / erection of poles etc all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches exceeding 1.5 m wide and exceeding 1.5 m depth and getting out soft / loose soil for laying cables / pipes / erection of poles for each additional 1.5m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5 m etc all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated surplus material (soil) not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point all as directed.

Returning filling in using excavated soil including spreading levelling watering well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each all as directed.

Supplying and laying of burnt Fly ash bricks class standard old size for protection of cable as directed.

Fine Sieved excavated dry soil laid to the required width of trench at bottom and top of cable as cushioning all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling & taking down Old Unsv pole of any type and any size/ make etc complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and fixing steel tubular swaged pole erected to truly vertical or planted as strut complete with 6mm thick MS Base plate, welded to pole, finial taper cap, bolts, nuts, screws, 9 Mtr long, type 410 SP - 31, including drilling of holes of required size for fixing of cross arms, painting the exposed surfaces of pole with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and with two coats of black bituminous paint on the portion embedded in concrete, and marking pole number with black paint at suitable height all as specified and directed

M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate for coping to pole foundation including necessary form work with fair finished surface all as specified and as directed

M&L for Plain Cement concrete 1:4:8 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for pole foundation, filling and mass concrete all as specified.

Taking out from trenches/ poles/ wall etc LT XLPE UG Cable / PVC Sheathed aluminium conductor armoured and relaying after fault rectification duly tested in trenches/ Poles/ Wall of LT UG Cable size of following sizes : Note: (i) Jointing Kit will be measured and paid separately under relevant Item (ii) Excavation, returning refilling will be measured separately.

Taking down old UNSV UG Cables and taking as schedule of credit including, Supplying, laying, jointing and testing LT underground cable, heavy duty, 1100 Volts, XLPE insulated and sheathed, armoured with multi-stranded aluminium conductor cable , laid in trenches/ ducts or fixed to poles/ walls or laid under roads/ paths/ drains/ culverts complete all as specified and directed of following sizes:

(a) LT UG Cable 2 core 10 sqmm .

(b) LT UG Cable 4 core 16 sqmm .

(c) LT UG Cable 4 core 25 sqmm .

(d) LT UG Cable 3.5 core 35 sqmm .

Supply and Fix Straight through joints Heat Shrink insulations and sealing system for underground cable including joint kits and labour complete for making joints suitable for LT XLPE/ PVC sheathed/ armoured heavy duty cables with aluminium conductor all as specified and as directed of following sizes:-

(a) 3.5/ 4 core 10 to 16 sqmm Make: Raychem/3M or equivalent

(b) 3.5/ 4 core 25 to 50 sqmm Make: Raychem/3M or equivalent

Relaying the removed bricks after Fault rectification complete all as specified and as directed

Repair and welding work the existing panel board door and provided hinges for door, if necessary and lock arrangement with provision of pad lock with keys and cleaning the welding surfaces by rubbing and polishing with two coats of synthetic enamel paint all is specified and directed.

Taking down old UNSV Main switch/ Switch fuse Unit and taking as schedule of credit including Supply & Fix following MCCBs Thermal magnetic release type directly fixing to main board/panel /walls including new alteration to panel with all necessary accessories all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cutting and cleaning all branches of trees on Street Light poles and maintaining the street Light fittings minimum 3 mtr all around tree branches at OTA area all as specified and directed. Note :- Span shall be measured along the direction of Poles. The tree cutting will be done within 3 months.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron/steel strip 25X4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, washers and check nuts made out of galvanised iron, protected by GI pipe light grade 15 mm bore dia and connected to main control board all as shown in Electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part I including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, salt, charcoal dust, PCC 1:2:4 type B1 in chamber, RCC 1:2:4 chamber cover with 6 mm dia MS bar at 100 mm centre to centre both ways and MS 6 mm dia hook complete all as specified and directed.

Finding and rectification of electrical fault by Checking of external/ internal electric supply feeder, street light feeder, OH conductors /under ground cables using elect tools, equipment's and safety devices after arranging elect shut down of feeders from sub station to remove elect faults like tightening of loose connection, removing of any electric short,meggring of cable, excavation of soil for removing of faulty cable on a particular span and relaying of cables after removing of fault, re-tightening of cable lugs etc all as required at site and as directed. Note:- (i) The electrician employed for the purpose will be highly skilled along with one mate and should have all necessary tools and safety devices. (ii) Any major materials used for rectification of faults like Cables, MCB/ MCCB/ cable jointing kits/ cables of any type etc will be measured and paid separately or supplied by department. (iii) Rate including hire of HT fault Locater any other tools/equipment's and Earth Work. (iv) The fault detected should be completed with in 12 hrs after finding otherwise delay period shall be penalised as per discretion of GE
