Improvement and Cement concrete lining of Karandia Branch Canal from RD 0.000Km to 7.000Km (Balance portion) under NKCSUY, Phase-III

Clearing shrub jungles including uprooting stumps of trees below 1.0mtr girth & thick bushes including bamboo clumps on premeasurement including all labour materials, cess & all other taxes as applicable etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work excavation, loading, unloading and carriage by mechanical means of all kinds of soil, including stony earth, gravel and moorum etc. interspread with boulders upto 1/2cum size with all leads, lifts and delifts including trimming of slopes and bed to design section and depositing the excavated materials away from the worksite by mechanically with all leads, all other taxes as applicable and including labour cess etc. complete as per the specification and as direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in approved type of soil in borrow area by mechanical means and loading into transportation vehicle and transportation of earth by mechanical means and unloading the earth over the approved surface of the embankment in proper profile with all leads, lifts, delifts including rough dressing and breaking the clods in to 5cm to 7cm size including removal of all foreign materials, debrises, grass, bushes, vegetations, shrubs, roots from transported earth including laying in layers not exceeding 22.50cm in depth including watering including hire and running charges of all machineries, construction and maintenance of haul road, T&P, cost of fuel, lubricants, cost of labour, carriage, royalty, EMF, DMF & additional charges, cess & all other taxes as applicable etc. all complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge (Measurement to be taken on the finished compacted level section and earth to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and responsibility)

Ordinary compaction of Earth work by PRR including cost of hire & running charges of PRR, cess, and all taxes as applicable etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Quarrying, collecting, supplying of good quality of moorum and sand and admixing moorum and sand in (60:40) proportion and laying in bed and slope as CNS layers and consolidation with P.R.R. to the required density with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, EMF, DMF & additional charges, cess and all other taxes as applicable including hire charges of all T&P, watering etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Quarrying, Collecting, Supplying 20 mm downgraded hard granite chips from approved quarry of uniform colour and texture free from elongated and flaky pieces, disintegrated materials and other deleterious substances and spreading hard granite chips in horizontal filter zones, filter blankets and filter drains of canal to proper thickness including surface dressing satisfying the filter criteria including cost, conveyance, royalty, EMF, DMF & additional charges, cess, taxes of all materials as applicable with all leads, lifts, delifts and all other incidental charges with quality control test etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying porous cement concrete blocks of size 0.15m x 0.15m x 0.25m with porous concrete (1:3.5) proportion with 20 mm size and downgraded hard granite crusher broken chips from approved quarry free from weathered skin dust and other deleterious materials including mixing in concrete mixture, with all lead lifts and delifts including supply of all materials, shuttering charges, all cost of material and labour for painting the porous concrete block with approved sealing compound, labour charges including positioning as per approved drawing and supplying T&P including watering and curing for specified days with cost of all materials, carriage, royalty, EMF, DMF & additional charges, cess etc, hire and running charges machineries dewatering by suitable means, construction of approach roads, diversion roads, diverting the water away from the structure including quality control tests etc as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Cement concrete M15 for C.C work in concrete lining work with 20 mm downgraded hard granite crusher broken chips from approved quarry free from weathered skin dust and other deleterious materials including mixing in concrete mixture hoisting and laying concrete with all lead lifts and delifts and placing over scientifically approved surface for lining to the bed of canal with sleeper beams, key etc in panels compaction by vibration of concrete by mechanical means including trimming and dressing of canal bed cutting trenches for sleeper beams, keys etc with watering and compaction of bed with hand rammers to proper profile and supplying and laying polythene film, supplying and providing approved sealing compound at joints and supplying T&P including watering and curing for specified days with cost of all materials, carriage, royalty, EMF, DMF & additional charges, cess, & all other taxes as applicable etc. hire and running charges machineries dewatering by suitable means, construction of approach roads, diversion roads, diverting the water away from the structure including quality control tests etc as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Cement concrete M15 for C.C work in concrete lining work with 20 mm downgraded hard granite crusher broken chips from approved quarry free from weathered skin dust and other deleterious materials including mixing in concrete mixture hoisting and laying concrete with all lead lifts and delifts and placing over scientifically approved surface for lining to the canal bed & slope etc in panels using concrete paver finisher, compaction by vibration of concrete by mechanical means including trimming and dressing of canal slope, cutting trenches for sleeper beams, keys etc with watering and compaction of slope with hand rammers to proper profile and supplying and laying polythene film, supplying and providing approved sealing compound at joints and supplying T&P including watering and curing for specified days with cost of all materials, carriage, royalty, EMF, DMF & additional charges, cess, & all other taxes as applicable etc. hire and running charges machineries dewatering by suitable means, construction of approach roads, diversion roads, diverting the water away from the structure including quality control tests etc as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Filling bitumen, cement & Jute fibre in expansion joints including cost of materials, bitumen & cement proportion (3:1) including cleaning before pouring 12 mm to 25 mm & 15cm depth etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
