Construction of RCC approach Road and RCC drain from National Highway to LPG Bottling Plant and Adjacent BPCL Oil Depot at Sherpur Muzaffarpur

CLEARING JUNGLE, UPROOTING GRASS, TREES

Clearing of grass, brush, saplings, small trees measuring up to 1 M from NGL as per site condition and removal of the rubbish outside site premises and at unobjectionable place.

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth measured at a height of Min.1m above ground level to any height as per site condition and removal of rubbish outside the site and to unobjectionable place as directed by IOCL.

Earthwork: Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means (exceeding 30 cm in depth) in foundation trenches or drains or land development including dressing of sides & ramming of bottoms, lift, including removal of the excavated soil, providing shoring, strutting, dewatering as required & disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed within or outside the site at an unobjectionable place, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed. Note: a. Any excavation within 300 mm below the NGL shall not be considered for payment. b. Vendor shall consider any extra width required for providing shuttering, shoring, strutting for earth retention etc in his scope which shall not be considered for measurements / payments. c.Tenderers to note that initial & final level survey shall be under taken jointly by the Contractor & IOC Site Engineer for calculation of earth volume using latest Rule in case of land development / cutting works. d. Tenderers to note that the scope of works inlcude provision of permanent & temporary bench marks.

In any kind of Soil

Earth Filling: Earth filling with availble or imported earth with by ramming and watering in complete finish level as required. Tenderer to note the following: a) Initial & final level survey shall be under taken jointly by the Contractor & IOC Site Engineer. b) Tenderers to note that the scope of works inlcude provision of permanent & temporary bench marks as per the instructions of the Site Incharge. c) Tenderers to note that approval from IOC shall be obtained for the imported earth & quarry used for ass filling & necessary test reports from a Govt Engg Colleges / Universities / NABL Accredited labs (With the approval of IOC) have to be submiited for the parameters specified by IOC prior to undertaking filling in the site. d) Item rate is inclusive of applicable Royalty for the importe dearth / Specific approval to be obtained from concerned Statutory Authorities. Necessary Royalty receipts / NOC to be submitted by the Contractor. e) Net quantity of compacted earth as per initial and final levels shall be paid & no compensation what so ever on account of subsidence of soil etc shall be permitted. f) No Back-filling will be paid; the rate is included in the excavation.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 15 cm in depth, consolidation each deposited layer by ramming and watering, within premises irrespective of lift & lead. Item includes compaction using Vibratory Roller of 8 to 10 ton capacity for earth work in under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (Proctor Density). The imported earth should have Liquid Limit & Plasticity Index below 20 and 6 respectively.

Controlled earth filling with good quality imported earth from approved source under floors and places with special compaction to achieve dry density of 95% standard proctor density as per instruction of engineer in charge at all heights/ depths. The rate include with transportation, depositing, compaction, dressing trimming complete as desirsed In layers not exceeding 15 cm including watering, consolidating by mechanical means as per specification and direction of E.I.C. Item includes compaction using Vibratory Roller of 8 to 10 ton capacity for earth work in under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (Proctor Density). Royality certificate to be provided

Supplying and Local sand filling within the grading zone IV of fine aggregates as per latest relevant IS specifications, in plinth, under floors etc. in layers not exceeding 15 cm in depth, each deposited layer to be compacted by ramming watering and dressing complete. Sand with high silt content shall not be allowed.
