Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as directed.

Applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-30 of any penetration at 5 Kg. Per 10 Sq. Metres complete all as directed.

Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete, 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content Paving bitumen VG-30 grade by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant, spread with sensor based mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using self propolled mechanical paver machine complete all as directed.

Repairs to pot holes any depth not exc 1 sqm each in area including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads path etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm depth making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming complete all as directed..

Roads studs of size 100 x 19 mm, made of ABS material body, dynamically designed to bear the load upto 25 Tonne and its impact strength shall be about 253KN and the weight of stud shall be 130 Gms. (Approx) Body availble in red/white/yellow colour available with swareflex beads complete all as directed. Make : Model No DA-978 (B) of Dark Eye or equivalent of M/s Automat Road Safety Pvt Ltd/ Sun Eye/ M/s Texla plastic and Metal Pvt Ltd.

Preparation of new or previously treated surfaces to receive the thermoplastic paste and marking of guide lines, dashed arrows, letters etc with reflective thermoplastic paste 2 to 2.5 mm thick using marking machine, white, golden, yellow or black colour as required using glass beads necessary for achieving reflection on roads pavements and the like as per BS 6088 complete all as directed. Note : 1. Unit rate quoted by the contractor include for provision of red signals to keep off trafic from work, cleaning road surface and working during odd hours when traffic is light. 2. The line marking shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing any signs of scratch marks or surfaces underneath, if necessary the surface shall be remarked after removal of existing treatment untill the desired result is obtained.

Precast cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in kerb stone jointed and pointed in cement mortar, 1:6 along road of minimum size 450x150x300mm including necessary earth work in hard and dense soil (including removal of surplus soil) complete all as directed
