Note: 1. # - One Set of installation hardware shall contain all installation hardware fittings as may be required for 1 km of Aerial/Approach fibre optic cable. 2. The existing earthwire alongwith its hardware & fittings shall be dismantled and taken away by the contractor on installation of OPGW. Also, after the installation of OPGW, the empty drums of OPGW would be taken back by the Contractor. This factor may be taken into consideration while quoting the price 3. *** The cost for Return of Existing Earth Wire shall be a minus value and thus negated from the bid price. 4. In case of Optical cards, the final quantities shall be decided at the time of detailed engineering / link budgeting 5. *Active / Active Redundancy of CPU/Call server, Storage, Control Card, Power Supply Card shall be provided in VOIP Equipment. Distributed power supply is also acceptable 6. ** VOIP Interface/Card shall have redundancy in hot stand-by mode. 7. (All the unit/cards supplied under Sr. no. 26.01 in spare item should be identical to those supplies as main quantity)
Note: 8. ^^- Quantity to be filled in Appendix-E of Technical Specifications of RTU, declaring the no. of cards in each offered lot. No. of cards should be in line with the no. of I/O channels per card meeting with the I/O requirement of all RTU Substation sites as per Technical Specifications requirement (I/O requirement break up given at Appendix-A of RTU Technical Specs). 9. No. of bays under item no. 44 above are indicative and which may vary upto any extent depending upon the power growth in the region. 10. The Maintenance Charges for Fibre Optic Cabling per annum shall be atleast 0.5 % of the supply cost of the OPGW & associated hardware accessories (excluding spares cost) 11. The Maintenance Charges for SDH, PDH & NMS system including DCPS system, and VOIP Equipment per annum shall be atleast 1.5 % of the supply cost of the respective Equipment (excluding spares cost) 12. The Maintenance Charges for RTU and LDMS per annum shall be atleast 1.5 % of the supply cost of RTU and LDMS (excluding spares cost).
