Providing and fixing Roofing sheet and PVC Flooring at Central Stores at IGCAR, Kalpakkam.

Dismantling brick work in cement mortar at all levels by manually / by mechanical means, carefully without damaging adjacent structures including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Removing of existing Asbestos sheets including labour charges, safety equipment’s, house keeping, ladders for access, hand rails, working platform (jalli) at required levels and hand over the same to the IGCAR departmental stores all complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing roofing sheet, cladding with 0.47mm thick colour coated concealed system profile corrugated/semi corrugated/plain Zincalume sheets of 55mpa yield stress (AS 1397 – Zincalume AZ 150) with coating class AS/NZS 2728 (minimum 150 grams per relevant standard) having a total coating thickness of 35 micron. The sheet should be rolled over specially designed concealed fixing clip manufactured from hi-tensile Aluminium Zinc alloy Zincalumen steel based and galvanized hooks. The clip should be fastened with minimum 40micron Zinc coated / minimum 25micron Zinc-Tin alloy coated. The rate is inclusive of all fixtures required for fixing the side roof, cladding on all sides, ridges etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, fabricating and fixing of 304 grade Stainless Steel Flat of approved size and make including welding, fixing at site etc. for the wind tie at above roof area with necessary fittings, screws, etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and Fixing Homogeneous PVC sheet, 2mm thick, conforming to IS:3462 latest edition in flooring and skirting (Polyfloor or approved equivalent make) in approved pattern, colour & shade on a smooth and damp proof base using rubber based adhesive of approved quality and manufacturer like Dunlop-S -758, or Fevicol SR 998, or approved equivalent including cleaning & preparation of surface, levelling small undulations with plaster of paris if required, rolling with light wooden roller weighing about 5 kg all complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-ChargeNote: The sample tile shall be got approved by the Architect/Engineer before procurement.

Providing and fixing Second class Teak wood work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory openings and other frames, wrought framed, fixed in position of required size and shape including sawing, jointing, making rebates for shutters, making grooves as shown in the drawings, architectural beading with teakwood 50x6mm alround, finishing the surfaces to the required finish all as per specifications and drawings including necessary MS hold fasts 300mm long, 5mm thick or with rawl plugs and screws including protective painting to the surface that will come in contact with walls, joining materials, labour etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing 9mm thick prelaminated with decorative lamination on both sides, 3 layer medium density (Exterior grade) particle board Grade-I, Type - II confirming to IS:12823 bonded with phenol formaldhyde synthetic resin of approved brand and manufacture in panelling fixed in aluminium doors, window shutters and partition frames with C.P brass /stainless screws etc. complete as per drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying painting Two coats on wood work/M.S. structural items and other required internal surface at all levels with Synthetic enamel paint (Asian or approved brand, colour and manufacturer) to give an even shade including one under coat of suitable primer, preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
