Rough Stone Dry packing for aprons and revetments using new stones obtained from approved source including the cost of new wedges for filling the gaps etc and complete of the works

Dismantling, Clearing away and carefully stacking materials useful for reuse of any thickness of walls in Brick or stone Masonry in cement mortar walls under 3m height as directed by the Engineer complying with specification.(Sl.No.14)

Providing and placing in position Plain Cement Concrete of M10 Graded Mix using broken hard granite coarse aggregate (well graded) of nominal maximum size of 40mm and down graded to I.S specified graidng (to achieve the specified characteristic strength of 7.5 N / mm2 in 28 days) and mixing the ingredients in approved mixer including dewatering of the placement site by baling / pumping and diverting wherever necessary placing in layers and watering, curing, finishing the surface with all leads and lifts etc., complete in all respects so as to attain the profile and strength as specified in the approved drawings and specification etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the Engineer incharge of work.

Random Rubble masonry in Cement mortar 1:4 (One Cement and four sand by volume) using old rubble stones including bond stones wherever found necessary and including simultaneous pointing the exposed surfaces with same mortar and all incidental charges such as scaffolding, bailing, pumping and dewatering wherever required, finishig curing etc.,

Plastering with cement mortar 1:5(One cement and Four sand)12mm thick watering and curing etc.,complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

HGS SS.20.B. Earth work excavating and depositing on bank with initial lead of 10 m & initial lift of 2m in Hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton, hard red earth, shales, murram, gravel, stoney earth and earth mixed with small size boulders SS.20B

Earth work excavation for foundation in all kinds of soils and sub soils except hard rock requiring blasting full depth as may be directed and depositing the surplus earth in places shown by the Engineer in - charge of work and leveling the same with all leads and lifts including shoring, strutting, shuttering, baling out water wherever necessary and refilling the sides of foundation with excavated earth in layers of 15cm thick well rammed and consolidated etc. complete, complying with technical specifications and drawings as directed by the Engineer in - charge of work. (Specification No.4.2.2.)

Providing and placing in Position of Plain cement concrete of grade M10 using hard broken stone aggregate of maximum nominal size of 40mm to IS specified grading mixing by mixer machine including dewatering the placement site,laying the concrete in layers and in bays ,compacting and finishing the surface with all leads and lifts watering curing to attain the profile and strength as specified for various depth and height and above ground level etc complete as directed by the Engineer in charge of work complying with the standard specification

Supplying and erecting water tight steel centering for sides and soffits including supports and strutting upto 3.29M height for plain surface such as RCC slab, vertical slabs, side slabs of RCC works with all cross bracings using mild steel B.G.10gauge sheets of size 90cm x60cmx10 gauge stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25mm x25mmx3mm for boarding laid over silver oak(country wood) joists of size 10cmx6.5 spaced at about 90cm centre to centre and supported by casurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Engineer incharge of work (The retrieved materials should be taken back by the contractor). The payment should be made after the concrete is laid.

With Strutting

Providing and placing in position of plain Cement concrete of grade M15 using hard well graded aggregates with the nominal maximum size of coarse aggregate of 40mm (60%) and 20mm (40%); weigh batching the ingredients and mixing in approved mixers/batching plant (the specified characteristic strength of 15 N/mm2 at 28days) including dewatering the placement site by bailing/pumping and by diverting wherever necessary; laying the concrete in layers of not exceeding 15 cm thick and in bays; vibrating, compacting and finishing the surface with all leads and lifts; watering curing complete so as to attain the profile and strength specified in the approved drawing & specifications and excluding the cost component of providing rigid and smooth centering for soffits of concrete slab or plain surface wherever necessary for various depths below ground level and various heights above ground level etc., complete as directed by the Engineer in charge of works and as per the technical specifications.
